As your game against KC in KC showed last year, if we can stop your running game and get a lead, the bootleg is rendered ineffective.
If Denver starts running the ball and has an opportunity to run that f*cking bootleg, the Chiefs have already lost.

They wont stop the reverse either, we ran that play like 4-5 times last game.

Quite honestly, I'm more concerned with your defense.
It's been the engine that makes your train go all year long. And it fvcked us in our mullet-covered asses in Denver.

5th ranked offense, 6th ranked defense. You're fvcked either way. And our D is the one engine that has stalled out this year, but it looks like that's starting to change.

The real question is if the Chiefs can break 50+ this year. 45-17 was pretty good, but I think we can widen the gap to 52-10. LJ only had 150 yards last year. He can improve on that.

Yeah LJ can run all the way to the couch and eat some potato chips and watch the playoffs like he did last year.:giggle:

Defense and special teams will have to play well in order for the bootleg to work. Lower Trent’s completion percentage, hold LJ to a respectable rushing total, and no kick returns for touchdowns. If the Broncos fall behind early, Jake will have to throw 40+ passes again.

What does that have to do with it? It shows just how much of a pussy Dante is. Haul off and smack him a couple times and he'll just lay down for you.
No one here wil deny his talent, but it's obvious he lacks guts.

Not worried, I noticed at least one Block in back called on a return. Officals not afraid to flag KFC on returns anymore. We covered the EX-x-factor at Mile High.

I don't give much merit to rankings myself...that's for the huffing and puffing of chests that Chief fan needs to feel accepted when they come here and then they trap locals into arguing...W-L is all that matters....it's going to be a dogfight next week and that's the only props that KC will get from me until the game is over.

Bootlegs are simple to stop. Problem is the DE's love to crash instead of contain....... must play containment .

Whts does that have to do with KC ? KC's D isn't even in the zip code of Dallas's D.
Oh yeah and we still won.

Uh, your total D is ranked 17th...
this actually helps my point, thanks, but I was referring to DVOA, not nfl.com's outmoded ranking style(for instance: I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest that New Orleans is not the 3rd best pass d in the league, though that's what nfl.com's method will tell you).

While looking at the statistics from 2004, I’m reminded that the 2005 Broncos will include a number of players that didn’t play in the KC game. Missing Burns and Carswell will hurt, however, the additions of Anderson, Dayne, Devoe, Sauerbrun, Darrent Williams, Foxworth and the Browncos is an improvement from the 2004 squad.

Careful Lidderer, you are going to be talking brain surgery to some people that feel that the sun rises and sets in NFL.coms butt....I hold you responsible if their heads explode!!!....oh and I'll be the first to shake your hand at the next tailgate that I can get to also. ;)

Pretty much.
Bell is a bit of weakness in this area although he had a good showing today. DJ has a nose for breaking stuff like that up.
