Points allowed is not the most important defensive stat. He ranked them:

That's why Buddy Ryan isn't on the sidelines any longer.

Your point is?
Wiow, Turnovers are important...wow...
We know that Buddy kinda liked sacks...
Just for your info Boob, we have a 46 Defense allready operating...it terrifies me but makes for good drama, but we run it...it's a zero coverage scheme, but we have some talent at CB....it's working, but I wouldn't use it against Brady...shouldn't you be worried about Tom Terrific right now Boob?

Well, we get to see Tom Terrific today...I get the Vikes as well as early games....I'm looking forward to watching NE rip that pathetic shred of a D apart and laugh....

Thats funny coming from him. i remember a few years ago when he was coaching the Eagles we went in there and blew his so-called defense out like 30-3 or something like that. he was talking up a storm before the game how his defense was so great and they were going to shut us down. Ha!

The Chiefs will win today. That's pretty much of a no-brainer to me. The Pats are banged up and Arrowhead will be fired up today. If I'm wrong, I'll eat crow. But I don't think the Pats will be much of a challenge. I hope I'm wrong though.

Its certainly possible but like i said in another thread the Pats need to start putting up some wins now if they want to win their division and make the postseason. they are more desperate than K.C right now and i can see them coming in and stealing this one.

Points allowed is not the most important defensive stat. He ranked them:
#1 turnovers
#2 third down efficiency
#3 sacks
#4 points allowed
1a) Turnovers (creating): Denver ranked #2 (tie with Pittsburgh and 24 total TOs)
1b) Turnover Differential: Denver Ranked #2 (+14)
2) Third Down Efficiency: Denver Ranked #11
3) Sacks: Denver Ranked #24 (tie w/Minnesota)
4) Points Allowed: Denver Ranked #7
Average rank: 9.2
Our third down efficiency is only poor because the offense got off to a slow start but has greatly improved since then. Our sacks are poor, though QB pressures and hurries are not reflected in that stat and can be just as good as a sack.
Now a quick glance over at KC's stats:
1a) Turnovers (creating): KC ranked #6(tie with Indy)
1b) Turnober Differential: KC Ranked #7
2) Third Down Efficiency: KC Ranked #7
3) Sacks: KC Ranked #15
4) Points Allowed: KC Ranked #21
Average rank: 11.2
Denver's Defense > KC's Defense

You're making all the points that could be made for a KC win today. The Pats have a 2-game lead in a division where its competition (Miami, NY Jets, Buffalo) are all going nowhere. They're gunna win their division. KC, on the other hand, has more to fight for, chasing us for the division or simply getting a wild card playoff spot.

Since this is a measure of defense, I think that it should be as follows:
1. Turnovers (amount created on defense, not differential)
2. 3rd down efficiency (How often your defense stops the opposition o n3rd downs)
3. Sacks
4. Points against

According to these rankings:
Denver
1. Turnovers +25 (#3)
2. 3rd Down Stopping 36.6% (#11)
3. Sacks 18 (#24)
4. Points/game 17.3 (#7)
Then if you do a weighted avg on these stats:
4a+3b+2c+4d/10=Ranking
4(3)+3(11)+2(24)+1(7)/10=10
Denver Buddy Ryan Defensive Ranking=#10
