They tore down Mile High and now Stanford university is tearing down their 90 year old stadium and downsizeing their new one from 80,000 to 50,000. I can't beleive that a guy like Elway doesn't have a "home" anymore. I can't think of too many QB's whose NFL digs and college ones were destroyed in the name of "positive cash flow".

I don't think I will need to change it if people read it.

Stanford Stadium is pretty run down these days. You walk down the steps on the bleachers and you feel the wood is going to give out.

It's a sad day in Palo Alto. When I think of Stanford, I think of Pop Warner, Clark Shaughnessy's T-formation, John Ralston and Jim Plunkett leading them to the Rose Bowl and John Elway throwing that 60 bomb on a line to the back of the endzone over Ronnie Lott's head.

They renamed Bryce Schurr Stadium at Granada Hills High School after John Elway back in 1998.

John knows he can always hang at my place. He'd have to drop the silly restraining order he has against me first, of course.

I tell you - the stuff people consider "stalking" these days...
