Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!
Talk about backing in. Texas is going to win by 70, and that's if CU gets lucky.

Damn ISU for losing... as if we haven't looked bad enough the last couple weeks, now we get to go against arguably the best team in the nation... AGAIN... this season just wont end...

I can't say I'm happy, but I'll take it.
I guess.

get your **** together, barnett
Wow... 2nd year in a row. We have some major luck in the North which is absolutely horrendous.
Well, at least we still got a chance to play in the Holiday bowl still. However... how incredibly crazy would it be if we could actually beat UT this time and make it to the BCS with four losses? lol.
Seriously though, Barnett has to go after his last two hatchet jobs. We really need to start digging up the hot new up and coming coaching prospects.
If i'm CU, I wouldn't mind looking at somebody with an edge to them. Maybe we can bring Mike Stoops back from Arizona where he hasn't had any talent to work with. Or even the coach from TCU would be nice. I don't know about South Florida but they had a great record this year... maybe they have a good coach as well?
We are a great program. We need the right person to come in and recruit, and capitalize off of that. I'm tired of being this retread 2nd-tier type team.
Might even be interesting to look and recruit an african american coach who is qualified as well. Two things here: One of the major knocks on CU in the past 10 years is that it is not a minority friendly place. We need to give some credibility back to the school and the football program on that front. We also need somebody that can go out and recruit the type of players that we need to succeed in the Big 12. Obviously, Barnett has lost touch with that. I don't know how great of a head coach Eric Bienemy would be, but he has experience with the program, has a lot of college coaching experience and also is a proven recruiter in Colorado, Louisianna, Texas, and all over the West Coast.

We really dont have a wealth of talent right now either... looking at next year our best player is Billingsly... Charles isn't powerful enough to be great in the Big 12, Hopefully CU plays Jackson next year to bring some excitement back to this offense...
FYI: CU is the least diverse state school in the nation

Well this blows, guess Barnett's gameplan the last 2 weeks to avoid Texas didn't work
We are routinely letting guys like Lendale White, Zach Lattimer and others leave the area for other programs. We need to keep our talent instate and start hitting those big states hard.

There was never a chance to keep Lendale in the state. Byers, Campbell, Lattimer, and Studdard are a few that should have not been allowed to get out.

Holy smoke. I was watching the Iowa St game and switched over after 3 quarters thinking that was it. Big 12 North is arguably one of the worst divisions in college football.

Jesus, what a bunch of losers and babies. anything can happen in football both in College and Pro. hell, my UVA Cavs should be getting stomped right now but are hanging in there with the Canes. remember not too long ago the Buffs bulldozed the Huskers when the Huskers were ranked real high so anything can happen. and with that i say the Buffs get rolled 55-10. lol

Texas wins 84-13. Hollywood couldn't coach his way out of a wet paper bag. Kansas really screwed, blued, and tattooed the Buffs on that one.

that was pretty lousy of the fans, almost every CU game I have attended has been pretty sketchy. They are really hurting their own program. Despite winning the north the last few years (not that it was a hard task) CU's program is in a downward spiral. They need a big name coach to get recruiting back right now all the talent in the region is heading to the south or to USC. Texas is going to throttle thesse guys, after they got beat many of he players interviewed seemed like they didn't even want to play Texas and have already conceded defeat.

I was at that game in the student section. The idiots throwing shet were 2 sections over from us. It was pathetic, what a way to ruin your school's reputation.

The reputation of the school has been one big underwear stain, since Barnett has been head coach. Yes, he has won the Big 12 North for 4 of the last 5 years. but it has been a lack of talent in the North instead of him having dominating football teams. His recruiting has been completely lackluster, despite the strippers, drugs, hookers and firetrucks. :D Problems with the football program follow him wherever he goes. He took a Northwestern program that was on the rise, and during his tenure it was tainted with gambling and prostitution allegations, for which he had "no knowledge of what was going on (Sound familiar CU fans?)." He is the head football coach, and therefore is ultimately responsible for the conduct of his players. Hollywood Barnett needs to go. I would personally like to see Dave Logan as the head football coach at CU.
