I can't wait man, I'm really envious of you for going to the game, maybe next year I'll get to it down in Columbus.

I'm leaving to go watch this game at BW3's now, the atmosphere will be electric...GO BUCKS!!!!

There are many great rivalries and all have their case for being the greatest. I have experienced many over the years and I still think the most intense were the Alabama/Auburn games played at Legion Field

I don't understand why you'd go for two there?

make it a 6 point game ... 2 fgs to tie instead of 2 fgs to win

can anyone explain for what achievments the buckeye players get to put those stickers on their helmets?

Gonzalez just went out of bounds and came back in to make the biggest catch of the game. Isn't that a penalty?

He went way out of bounds. I don't know what the rule is; ie if he has to re-establish himself in the field.

Michigan choked, either way.

Big Guy,

I live 45 minutes from Ann Arbor right now...near Toledo, Ohio. I lived in the area when I was younger, then Colorado, Minnesota for a little bit, Colorado again and then back to the NW Ohio/Southern Michigan area.

Just got back from the game.

Props to your Buckeyes...they were the better team. F Lloyd Carr and Jim Hermann though....I am fed up with the both of them. Tressel owns Carr 4-1.

Another chapter in the rivalry has been written.

Its going to come down to Vag Tech and OSU for that last at-large spot. Notre Dame is going to get in just because they are Notre Dame (but also this year they are actually legitimately deserving of a spot). Isnt there a rule that if your in the top 6 in the BCS you have to get a spot no matter what? VT was at 7 and OSU at 8 going in today I believe. We'll see if the computers push them over the top.

Oregon should be in that mix. Their only loss is to the Number one team.

I have got a sinking feeling that Notre Dame will face the Big East winner, the weakest of the BCS teams, cause the NCAA will want to give ND a BIG win in a big bowl. Will Miami play VT again in the conference championship? With Alabama losing today and VT possibly losing again to the U I am seeing the makings of a rematch with the U vs. the Buckeyes.

The fact that we lost almost certainly assures Ohio St. of a spot as an at large now and no we dont play VT again, we are in the same side of the conference so with a win vs UNC they will advance to plays FSU. In terms of the at large, Miami's loss seals a berth for Ohio St. There was a three team race for 2 spots. ND was in as a lock and that hasnt changed. They are bound for the Fiesta who gets the first pick after USC and Texas go to the Rose. Now that VT has basically won the ACC that takes them out of the at-large picture. Ohio St. is going to either go to the Orange against VT or the Fiesta against Notre Dame. I think if your in the top 6 at the end of the year in the BCS you are assured a spot no matter what. Now that Miami lost, the top six is going to be USC, Texas, Penn St, LSU, Ohio St, Notre Dame. Obviously, even if VT dropped the ACCCG to FSU, OSU would still get in over them since they just lost.

I think it will shake out like this:
Rose: USC v. Texas
Fiesta: ND v. OSU
Sugar: WVU v. SEC Champion
Orange: VT v. Penn State

I see, it's been a crazy day, I didn't know Miami lost until you just told me, damn, that's rough. I hope it works out the way you predicted, as long as OSU gets as many fans out there as they did in 02.
