Parcells hung blue and silver mouse traps from the cieling of their training facility (locker rooms, weight rooms, restrooms, etc) to help the team remember to "not eat the cheese."
Parcells says he doesnt want the team fall for the media hype (trap).

Are we talking about the Jets game, Dallas game, Buffalo game, or Jailbirds game? All 4 of those could very easily be trap games. However, I am getting a different vibe from this team. Last year they were going into Cincinnatti, and they were cocky and arrogant, and talked about how they were not going to allow the fans in the Jungle to have a fun night on MNF. This years team is very quiet, very reserved almost, and just go about their business. That is a team that really is to be feared.

yeah I distinctly remember this, at the Broncos hotel before the game, a fan was asking Jake about the Bengals game and he said "We are going to kill the Bengals tonight"... if only that were true... I was on the first row on the 50yd line behind the Broncos bench for MNF and I watched them lay the biggest egg on national tv... needless to say it was not a pleasant drive home..
What we have is a complete team that has great depth and that is what championship teams are made of.

I might as well post this on this thread... I'm concerned about the next 3 games. I have no doubt that our Broncos are better than our next three opponents... and not just a little better, but a lot better. The problem is timing. We have the Jets this week. Easy game right? Playing at home, poor team, lots of injuries, etc, etc. BUT, you have the Cowboys, who happen to be a pretty good team just 4 days later... in their house no less! That's a tough draw. They're at home this week and get to stay at home which gives them a bit more time to prepare for the Broncos. That is going to be a very tough game to win, and if we do win I can see a let down after a big win like that. The good news is that a loss to the Chefs 3 games from now probably motivates our team not to lose again this year. As I see it playing out... we're going 13-3 this year and will have a first round bye and a home game! I like it!

I hear you but I just dont think we have that kind of team this year. This team is very special. They have a good chemistry and will only get better as the years progresses. I think the Dallas game will be the perfect showcase for our team. It's a national spotlight unlike the MNF game. Turkey day is different because almost everyone is off work and watching the game. We will have all eyes on us and I think we will shine. The jets and chiefs my be tougher games but I still think we win both. The team that may get us before the playoffs is the chargers. They will probably be fighting for there lives and we should already have locked everything up by then.
Since I live here in texas I am surrounded and will never live it down if the broncos lose so we must win! Go Broncos! Beat Everyone!

Speaking of hung... Have any of you notice cars/trucks/semis having 2 balls in a sack hanging from the bottom rear end of the vehicle? Makes me laugh when I see it.

I fail to see how the Dallas game is a trap game? Dallas is a legitimate team and has plenty of threats to be worried about, one of whom is their QB and the other is their D. And they play well on Turkey day because it is their stage, their tradition.

and THAT is what Im worried about most. Didnt we play them 4 yrs ago on turkey day? I believe we beat them too, but i forget.

Not sure if anyone knows or not, but I know they usually do the throwbacks during the Dallas and Detriot Thanksgiving games. Are the Broncos going to break out the pre-1997 jerseys, with the bright orange? That would be great to see, and would bring goose bumps watching Rod, Jake, Champ, Dwill, Fox, and all the players to wear the jersey’s that we all grew up watching. Would love to see it, anyone know if we will be seeing throwbacks during T-giving game?
go Broncs!

The cowboys ARE wearing throwbacks (for the second time this year) denver is wearing their regular uni's (for some unknown reason).
now, I know teams are allowed to tweak the unis twice a year and we havent done it once. Since it is the cowboys we will be allowed to wear dark blue, so maybe we will see the blue pants as well? i hope so.:~ohyah!:
and to clarify, it WONT be the orange jerseys. there was a list floating around at the beginning of the season showing which teams were wearing alternate jerseys and for what game - denver was not listed as using them this year.

The NFL will let the Cowgirls do whatever they want...Denver will have to dominate that game from start to finish to win...trust me....

I still can't believe Bowlen isnt going to bust them out. Kinda annoying to all of us fans who grew up loving those oranges...........
BUT as long as we win, i dont care what jersey is worn! :charge:
