Look at how fast he pulls away from Porter. I only wish he would tuck the ball in instead of holding it out like that. Way to easy for a knee to come up and knock the ball out of his hand.

I must thank Ozo once again for bringing him to us.
That was a sweet play. I was jumping up and down right when he snared it.

man...he looks like he's running in slow motion...cut him....
They need to fix that blurry camera tho...you would think DW was flying for something....the line markers are all fuzzy...kinda like a nascar finish line...go figure...

Yea, the way he held onto the ball kind of disturbs me. but, he did torch Porter after about 10 yards. Hilarious!

PULLLEEEEZE!!!
He can hold that bad boy however he wants as long as he's making plays like that!!!!
When he returns punts he doesn't hold the ball like that.....
He held it like that because he was out in front and he knows that NO ONE has the speed to catch him from behind...

Thanks, looks about as good as the Denver play by play announcer made it sound. Being on the road, I miss a lot of the visual stuff that happens in these games. Rep for this one...™

I don't like the way he held it either (kinda like a loaf of bread) deion sanders used to do that and i hated it, i have seen holding the ball like that screw over a great play by the ball simply being swatted of of their hand, So why take the chance if you dont have to.

Had he tucked the ball away, we might not have been jumping so wildly there on the bus. Running with your arms wrapped around a football slows you down and he might not have gotten the TD. It still would have been a good play, but not the great play it was.

Just remember that when it costs us a turnover, it's just my thought that if the oportunity isn't there (it doesn't happen) just my opinion.

I'm sure Shanny mentioned it, but you don't want to discourage a wild horsie either...
We have been crying like Banshies for playmakers in the secondary for half a decade...you people blow my mind! We start getting them and you start finding fault...
If you think your the first fan that cringed while the player was running back a sure TD and some guy was beating ass to knock it out from behind your not the first one...it's just the way the game is played now...flava clown style...
I have wondered for 20 years now why players hold the ball dangerously up in the air or reach for the endzone to get the TD only to see it roll out of the end zone for a touchback so many times I can't count them...
Talent is one thing, stupidity is another, and there are many examples as we all know....
What makes you think it's going to change? You don't think coaches admonish players holding the ball dangerously and slacking on the last 5 yards? They do it to taunt! You can't figure that out? Of course the coach says "Make sure you run the ball into the enzone before you start celebrating..."
Do you honestly think they listen whatsoever?
How many examples do you need? Honsestly, it's not really important actually...this behaviour isn't going away, it will get worse....
One upsmanship is an art to these guys....so just accept it...like I said...coaches don't like it, but it's so ingrained now it's unstoppable....

I think your missing the point, if that ball is fumbled than there is a blown opportunity. fortunately he didnt cough it up or it wasnt slapped out of his hand. the general opinion is he should take care of the ball and showboat later. i dont care how he looks going to the endzone just so as long as he makes it.

although you maybe right on it slowing you down but there was no way they would still catch him with Collins and Porter chasing after him.
