Shut off the game and went to bed last night, after betting on the Cowboys, thinking well that was a huge waste (20-7) . Wow, the Eagles really do suck

Man that last four minutes was fun to watch.

When Dallas scored with 3:04 left I thought to myself "Well, this is interesting. 3 timeouts and the two minute warning. This might just be a good game afterall.." and then Roy picked it off and took it to the house. Sat straight up in my bed and said "Holy ****!"

The iggles dominated that whole game, except those last 4 minutes. Helluva ending/

McChoke...as NFC east fans like to call him, really lived up to that name last night

that INT he threw was worse than Jake's left handed one

It's TO karma. As long as he's an Eagle the Eagles are doomed.

Just goes to show that the Eagles are a much better team without Owens dragging them down.

I haven't looked at the stats yet, but I assume that Reggie Brown must have pulled in at least a hundred yards and two TDs.... right?

Saw on Sportscenter McNabb has like the 4th worst QB rating in the 4th quarter behind the likes of Josh McCown. Did you hear the Eagles fans boo McNabb when he came on the next possession and cheer when McMahon came in the last possession? I also could hear TO laughing...

A blurb in the paper this morning said McNabb injured his groin during the INT return, and he's scheduled to have an MRI.

With Dalllas & the Giants looking good, and the Redskins better than expected, the Eagles really have their hands full now.

Cut the guy some slack. He has no running game, a marginal corps of receivers (they were only slightly better with TO in there as a group), a coach who won't give his team an identity, oh yeah, and a sports hernia that limits his ability to make plays with is feet like he used to. McNabb has proven what he can do when healthy and when he had real runners like Staley and Westbrook and not Lamar Gordon and Reno Mahe.

Personally, i think the eagles made a mistake giving westbrook a long term deal. He's a marginal runner who will wear down unlike the true studs like Edge and LT.

Yeah, they only rushed for 180 yards last night. McNabb is making horrible decisions. One of the worst QBs in the league right now.

I fell asleep early in the 4th quarter and woke up right after they were showing Terry Glenn's TD on replay...Then when McNabb threw that ball to nobody but Roy Williams I started to wonder if I was still asleep.

You should know better than basing a statement on one friggin game. They were on pace for 280 carries in a season--lowest EVER. NOt just in the modern era--EVER. A guy who throws the ball 50 times a game in a one dimensional offense will a)get killed b)throw lots of INT's and c) thank the good Lord when his season is over.

Putting the entire offense on McNabb is unfair and moronic on the part of Reid, especially knowing he has little to no mobility and a group of Division II caliber wr's. The great qb's like aikman, manning, montana, et al had a great wr and top notch rb as well as a coach who knew how to utilize them all.

They also lost their starting Center last week. That's not going to help McNabb or the running game.

When 82 dropped that pass from McMahon, the Sportscenter announcer even mentioned that TO had to be laughing in glee at the time.

I agree to a large point but to Slugs credit McNabb is making a lot of bad decisions.

His decisions are a function of his alternatives, which are slim. He's forced to throw into double coverage or take a sack that may knock him out of a game or season. The guy's accountable for his play but morons who make statements like, 'Rush was right' aren't looking at it objectively.

Parcells called a gutless game, the Eagles choked, and TO laughed.

As eventfull as the game was in the end, it was not worth the 3.5 hours it took to watch.

They are so much better without TO? So much better? Just like the vikings were so much better without moss. What a joke!

Eagles without TO = 0-2
Vikes without Moss = 4-5

The fact he is being asked to throw so much with no threat of running the ball will make it easier for the defense and in turn tougher on him but given that fact and what he has to work with his decision making has been less than stellar despite those circumstances. The game killing INT obviously stands out but there have been several over the last several games. Just one of many examples was were they settled for the Akers FG last night when on 3rd down Westbrook was running down the right side completely uncovered and McNabb completely missed that blown coverage. Reid has forced him into a tougher than needed situation which I completely understand but he can be and should be a lot sharper in his reads. While it may seem like a silly excuse but the reality is this whole TO mess has probably caused him to be spending a lot more time giving interviews and less time studying film of his upcoming opponents. He probably needs to tell all the media requests to get bent and spend more time in the film room.

Not over Jake. I like McNabb, he's a good ball player.

Whoa! As good as Jake's been so far, that's going a bit far.

We'd be world-beaters with a healthy McNabb along with our rushing offense.

Throw the ball 70% of the time in this league and someone's going to die and it won't be the coach. The fact that Dononvan's had a sports hernia all this time makes it even more egregious.

Andy Reid is, IMO, having the worst season by a contending coach I can ever recall. Just complete and utter ineptitude straight out of the gates. "Oh, McNabb's hurt? Well, let's throw the ball more than ever!!!!!!! Is that a plan or what?!"

DISCLAIMER: I'm bit of a McNabb homer as a die-hard Syracuse Orange fan.

Injured McNabb unlikely to play against Giants

By ROB MAADDI, AP Sports Writer
November 15, 2005

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Donovan McNabb is unlikely to play in Philadelphia's game against the New York Giants on Sunday because of a groin injury.

"I wouldn't bet on it," Eagles coach Andy Reid said Tuesday when asked if McNabb could start. "He doesn't look good today."

McNabb injured his groin while trying to tackle Dallas' Roy Williams after throwing an interception. Williams returned the pick 46 yards for a touchdown with 2:43 left to lead the Cowboys to a 21-20 comeback victory over the Eagles on Monday night.

....

Reid said McNabb had an MRI on Tuesday morning, and was waiting to see a specialist. If McNabb doesn't play, Mike McMahon probably would start against the Giants.
