View Full Version : The officials robbed us!

Just kidding. I don't know how many times I was told that I wouldn't be back to take my lumps should the Raiders come up short. Well, I'm here.

Denver is definately better than the Raiders. It really does rub me the wrong way to have to admit that Jake Plummer is better than anyone, but I think it's obvious that KFC (that's Kerry F'ing Collins) stands small even under the tiny shadow that Plummer throws.

It's too bad really. Our defense put up a good fight all the way until the end only to see Clown College finally reveal himself for what he is-a lurpy douche who has no business running an NFL offense. Even last week, in all my bluster here, I actually stated that I couldn't say anything good about Collins and of course the same remains today.

I also don't think I'll surprise anyone by admitting that Shannahan outcoached Norv. However, I wouldn't hang any Superbowl XL aspirations on that one as my local Junior Pee-Wee All American league just scratched Norv off the list of potential assistant coaches for next season.

Some day, Al Davis will not be the owner of this team. Some day, the Raiders will move to a market (oh say, Los Angeles) where a new stadium deal can be reached and where.... Nevermind, I'm really straying.

Congrats. But I have to wish your team the very worst of luck the rest of the way.

The Fade i knew would be tough. But they played really well. Ill give their D props for allowing an Oak comeback, but our D had enough and 2 games in a row our rookies stepped up and made the plays.

Speaking of Refs..... Did anyone notice that one of our Broncos DLmen was across the LOScrimmage before the ball was snapped on the play that D. Williams picked off the ball and took it to the house? During the whole play I was waiting for a false start or encrougement flag to fly. It never came.

I went back and super slo-mo'd the play and he was across the line by a lot before the ball was even snapped. How can a headlinesman miss a call so that was so clear?

Goes to show you that the refs don't really care whom they screw. Nice to be on the receiving side occaisionally. ^5

Did you look up a book of famous quotes to come up with that gem? Sheer genius I tell ya'.

As for the penalty in question in this thread, I missed it. And so did most Raider fans apparently. Otherwise there would be cries and howls of yet another injustice perpetrated by the refs that caused the Raiders to lose yet another game. Nevermind that Norv is the coach and Collins the qb... God, that gets embarrassing.

Anyway, I like this board. I'll be in and out from time to time to say hello and whatnot. Take it easy.

I'm not a troll. A troll is someone who would show up and just say "Broncos SUCK!" and never come back. I don't troll boards.
