I watched the 1st pre-season game after SB XXXII at a hotel bar on Wikki beach on our honey moon & pissed off the wife. that game was on ABC though. ask a travel agent they should know the sport bars at the island you are on. & enjoy. Go to Mama's if you are on Maui & also check out the 7 pools of the 7 something it is hard to get to but worth it!

Sounds like a good problem to have there man. I'm assuming you'll be in Honulu/Waikiki? Plenty of bars in there. It damn near looks like LA. When I first went there I was expecting wide open beaches and coconuts everywhere. Boy was I wrong.
Anyway this might help. http://www.sportstavern.com/hawaii.html

Waaa, i have to go to Hawaii. >:'(
Have fun man, and as Meck said, Hawaii is a big place just like LA is with bars and what not. For a Chef game it should be easy to find.

thanks for the link, but I not looking forward to the trip. 12 to 17 hour flight depend on what Uncle Sam books me on, two days of 10+ hour day meeting in industrial areas and back on the darn plane. Everyone think going on business trip to Hawaii is fun, it suck. I still trying to convince my boss to allow me to travel on Monday vs Saturday/Sunday.

I was stationed on oahu for 4 years I know all the spots to go, even been kicked out of a few. The rest of the islands?????
Duke's canoe club (great fish) in waikiki is good but always crowded.
Dixie's BBQ joint in honolulu by the convention center rocks. They have a trash can platter that will make you slap your neighbor it's so good.
If you feel like watching the games with a bunch of the nations finest you can go to schoefield army base. The sports dome plays all the games. They have like 25 TV's. Food sucks though.
I'll think of some more. I know the island well but my brain doesnt work so great sometimes.

And remeber the early games are early, like 8 or 9. Beer and pancakes dont go so well.

what?!?!?!
Who cares about the past, if we lose to the Chefs, ill be very mad, and if i come back to the board and ppl like you are just shrugging their shoulders saying "we always lose" itll infuriate me even more. This is a new year and its time to forget about last year.

Screw that watch it from a bar/resturant positioned on a patio/beach! I did & it was only a pre-season game-this is Chefs Broncos!
Plus the locals should all be rooting for Ash. Call up Ash & find out where he would hang!

I hear you Elsid. Business trips and vacations are two different things. I'm sure you'll make the best of it.

Hmm....I disagree with you on that one BM but we'll see. Normally I'd chalk an L upfor this game at the beginning of the season but not this year. Basic common sense tells me we have improved more this year than the Chiefs.

Alec you don't do a lot of traveling for work do you? DC to Hawaii is very hard trip on the body. Try sitting in cramp quarter for 17 hours with honeymoon couple on one side and the familly with 4 kids on the other. And last three times I been there I seen the beach exactly once at night. My time is book solid since it the only opperunity some folks get to see me in real time to want to cram everything possible into my schedule. Whining no, missing the Chef/Broncos is pain in the butt.
