No doubt. Phil Simms was fined because his socks were down by his ankles. If you don't tuck your shirt in it's a fine.

About that game...

Didn't McNabb Listen to T.O.? I mean, the surprise fake spike that suprises your 10 teammates didn't work for Farve. And, T.O. will tell you that Farve is a superior Quarterback. I kinda cheered when he got drilled and wasted a 3pt try going into half, that should learn him.

Portis and sean taylor both had colorful socks. They have been fined every week because of this. I want to say I remeber it being like a $5000 fine.

The fine for wearing the socks cracks me up on so many levels.\

1. Dress code fines are just plain Hilarious.

2. Fining is not a deterrent regulation, but the league sure does like to do it anyway. If they want to regulate it properly, simply refuse participation in the contest until they meet the dress code. Not being able to play until they are compliant would be a very easy non messy scenario.

3. The narcissism of the guys who actually are WILLING to pay 5k in order to stand out. At least the money goes to charities. What do you bet their accountants deduct it from their income?

Portis probably makes about $5000 a minute in a football game. I think your right on make them watch the game until they act right or fine them somethin that will make them think twice. Maybe $25000 per instance.

Don't care about Portis or any Mcnabb/Owens crap....what kind of coach calls three passes on 2nd and 4...on the 7....with 2 minutes left? Is Andy Reid high?
