Played against 'The Snake' in high school (Idaho) - damn, the kid was awkward but fast and seems he could throw the deep ball a little better back then (slower moving targets).
Merril Hoge (analyst and ex-Steeler) is from my HT along with a few small namers playing back up roles.
BEST OF ALL:
TJ, our hero, also lived in my hometown for a while and hated it - I don't blame him.

Bryant Young and Derrick Walker went to my high school before I got there. Played against Randle El - had the chance to sack him, but he juked me out of my socks. By the time I looked up, he was 20 yards downfield.

Kevin Greene use to live right down the road from me. He played at my rival highschool at Oxford. He still lives here I believe. Him and I think Bill Goldberg is from Alabama or Georgia. Whichever one, he has done alot of things here in this city. I've met with him while he was in the WWE when I use to work with them. Had lunch with him and his wife. She is pretty damn hot too.

Went to Granada Hills HS with that Elway guy.... Out here there is a better chance of an actor or actress than a NFL player.

Jim McMahon only went to school in our state and was best friends with my cousin. He flew my cousin and his wife to the SB and afterward we got to say hi to him on the phone. My connections to NFL.....and other sports.
My father-in-law worked with Dwayne Carswell's father in Jacksonville, FL.....
Ray Criswell's (punted for UF and was a 5th rd draft pick for the Eagles in mid 80's) father was my high school football coach..
former MLB pitcher Mike Caldwell (Brewers of '82) is from my dad's hometown....as is former USFL great and Redskin Kelvin Bryant.
Former Ravens FB Sam Gash and Thane Gash (former NFL safety with the Browns I believe) are from my current hometown....
Have met former Raiders OL Mickey Marvin, who owns a business out here....
Brad Johnson went high school in near by Black Mountain....as did former NBA star Brad Daugherty (have met Brad Daugherty in Staples)
..and former Dodger and Braves pitcher Darren Holmes lives in nearby Arden, NC....and his wife has used my company several times.
Detroit Tiger's #1 pick of '05 Cameron Maybin goes to the same high school my brother-in-law does.

He was an all american from Penn State and then an OL guy with the Seahawks, later he went into the USFL with the Stars and then had a last gasp as a scab in 1987 with the Giants......could've resurrected his career then but you know how it is with the powder.
He's was an arrogant prick and now he's a bum and a loser...and I have no sympathy for him at all.

Steve Cox is the only guy from my high school that made it in the NFL. He was 13 years ahead of me, so I never knew him. He punted for Cleveland and Washington, but also kicked 55+ yard FGs. He nailed a 60 yarder that is still 3rd longest all-time. It seems like he attempted record setting FGs a few times. He has a Super Bowl ring from beating the Broncos. >:'(

I have a guy that was from my hometown, which has a population of 300, that was drafted to play pro football and baseball but instead went and played in the canadian football league. No idea why it was the fifties I think. He then went on to become a hall of famer for the Canadian Football league. Just found his name it was Hal Patterson. A few from the past but only current kids are Rex Grossman(NFL) and Jared Jeffries and Sean May (NBA) to currently be in the big time from my hometown of Bloomington....My adopted hometown of Indianapolis obviously has more than I could count over the years. Rosevelt Colvin, Courtney Roby, Paul Spicer, Derrick Ransom are a few of the currents I can think of. Peyton Manning is from Denver, right?
Oh no, that's right, he just owns it.

Broncos Special Teams Coach and former player Ronnie Bradford went to my Elementary (Central Elementary), and High School (Adams City High School) both in Commerce City, CO. He played 10 seasons in the NFL (3 with the Broncos). He also played for the Cardinals, Falcons, and Vikings. He was originally drafted by the Dolphins, but was released in training camp, and signed with the Broncos. Hell of a player in High School.

Being an Air Force brat, the closest thing to a home town I can claim is Colorado Springs and I'm unaware of anyone coming outta there. I suppose I could also claim anyone from Denver since that is now where I live, but again I'm not aware of any NFL players from here.

I once helped deliver a pickup-truck-load full of Arrowhead water to Joe Montana's cousin in Culver City, California.
I sold a blender to Troy Aikmans babysitters, cousin, brothers, uncles, dog sitter, dad
Very funny . . . but I DID deliver that truckload of water to Montana's cousin!
It's TRUE!
Why won't you be-LIEVE me?!
