eh I woudn't give us a snow advantage. They beat us in a heartbreaker a few years ago in a major snow storm. That game sucked. Oh and the Raider game last year...and so on and so on...

Indy is going to lose 1 game maybe. You guys are going to end up 11-5. What a bunch of homers. You sound like Chief fans.
You are going to go to Indy and get spanked. What road victory do you guys have that shows you can go to Indy and beat them in Indy?

Not so sure about that... when it's all said and done watch for the Steelers to have the best record in the AFC. They have what you might consider a "cupcake" schedule for the 2nd half. They could easily run the table and probably finish no worse than 13-3. If we go anywhere in January, my guess is Pennsylvania!!!

Besides, they haven't even played anybody hardly worth mentioning yet.
Ravens, Jags, Browns, Titans, 49'ers, Rams, and Texans? Please. Jags and Rams are the only two decent teams on that list and the Rams were without half their offense, and they barely beat the Jags @ home. We destroyed the Jags on the road.

Recently Denver has sucked in the snow. We lost to Oakland last year, badly. We lost to NE in the snow a few years ago...late...We suck in bad weather. We sucked in Miami when it was too hot as well.
Denver also recently has sucked in Prime Time Night Games.

god i love this time of year... Chef Fan has already been slapped back to "Well... Indy is gonna beat you again" :bash:
Colts have a cupcake schedule, they're getting a first round bye. We have a nice record but a long homestand, I think we take the division, but 2nd best record? Iffy on that. I'll take a home wild card game and an end to the "Shanahan can't win playoff games without Elway" talk.
We'll see about facing Indy after that. Honestly, I like our team's chances this season with how we've been playing. Bell would be a danger on that fast turf of theirs, and we've significantly improved the speed of our secondary through the draft, and the pass rush of our DL through FA. We're a lot different team than what the Colts have played the last few years.
Besides, the Pats are 1st in their division right now. Manning will still loose to Belicheck and Brady, even in Indy, because Dungy and his OC will once again get totally out coached.

Was I high when I saw the highlights but wasn't it raining yesterday at the game? 300+ yards in the rain, yeah, you're right he sucks in the weather.

Good. I'd like nothing better than the chance to punk Indy in their house. Denver is a better team this year, playing a much more difficult schedule than India-nadless. Also, I think the football gods are smiling on Eli, while getting ready to throw Peyton a box of rocks.
Colts Would Have A Hard Time Beating The Broncos In Denver With A Lot Of Snow!!!!!!!
Dufas....
I guess you are a new Bronco fan for asking for alot of snow. Just look back to last years loss to the raiders during a Monday night blizzard and a loss to Indy at home during a blowing snowstorn 2 years prior. We are a bad team in the elements. Our Oline is way to small and lose ALL advantage we have when the ground gets nasty. We are a finess team and when you add either snow or alot of rain we lose all leverage against an over sized defensive line. No leverage = no blocking = no open lanes to run thru = plummer having to throw the ball under pressure and we all know what happens when Plummer is being harrasses all day long.
I do not think we can count on Indy losing games for us to over take them in the seeding rankings. We just better hope the Broncos continue, to gel, stay or get healthy and get better on both sides of the ball and contine to take it one game at a time. Lets make sure we get to the dance before renting the tuxedo's.

Yeah that's a good point. The game a few weeks ago had alot more rain and it was damn cold. Colder than any of the snow games I've been to in the last 5 years.
Maybe we are becoming a better bad weather team. We've had our share. On paper you would think it would be advantageous to us than the Colts. The dome is defening. I'd much rather play with the Mile High thunder in the background instead of hearing 70k plus hillbillies in Indy yelling in my ear again.
I do know this. A little snow or rain won't stop BroncoBilly aka BillyCrush from raising hell.:redpunch:

As it has already been explained to you. Last yr's lost had a lot to do with one particular CB, and the team was injured at CB. This yr (assuming they heal and don't injure further), not only are the CB's much better, but they are much faster, making them even better in the context of the dome. Further, this yr's running game is even more dangerous and faster, which again gives the Broncs the advantage in artificial turf. Then there is the improved DL. So yes, there are many reasons why one can assume the Broncs can win there, and it takes a virtual moron, to assume that last yr's debacle can be used to determine an outcome for this yr. That being said, it is not certain will would win, but for that matter the converse is far from true, which is your ignorant contention. Now go practice your reading comprehension :dunk:

WRT the Broncs performance on snow, lets not forget that the team was leading the raiders by 13 pts, with minutes left in the 4th qtr, and Indy needed a 50 yd field goal in a snow storm to win it. So the team did not exactly mail it in on both occasions. That being said, they looked awful against the skins

Last year has nothing to do with this year.
Jake has been much better this year about doing some boneheaded thing to sink you guys. Even getting props on ESPN.com and such positive publicity.
But he isn't over the hump yet. I still think Trent Green is a btter QB and that Jake is your weak link. You got a helluva running game I would think you would want to run the ball in Indy and keep Peyton on the sidelines.

a cheif's fan even on this thread .... go figure.
NE beat INdy at home in like game 1 last year reg season, but it took a missed vanderjagoff FG attempt. To the extent possible, I think the league has gamed this for Indy. But, I don't see beating Indy in Indy. Nevertheless, the formula is to hit Payaton early and often. He simply isn't as tough as guys like McNabb and Brady or even his little bro. Problem is, he can get the ball off so quickly and reads so well. NE would use their zones and back 8 to hide where the blitz was coming from, and even their down DEs could back off and play a zone.
No diss to McNabb but he just couldn't take a hit. He's hurt. Run that same blitzing at indy, and I'm not sure Payaton can't light it up without really getting laid out. Have warren body slam him twice, and he folds though.

I'm not as worried about Indy this year with our running game. If we keep eating up the clock, and can score a few TD's, Payton won't have that much of a chance to destroy us.

Manning isn't that great anyways. He's played horrible against nonplayoff teams this year.

As far as the # 1 seed...it will be Indy or Pitt probably. They both have easy second half schedules. If we win out then maybe WE get Homefield...not likely. And yes we may have to go through the dome to get any further.
The difference would have to be whether we can go in HEALTHY. The last two playoff games there we have had 2 defensive back starters out each time. We have beaten them THERE (two years ago) in the regular season, then had injuries change our whole defensive backfield. That leaves us scrambling to find a way to cover, and frankly we haven't been able to, cause Manning had too many receiving threats. That let their defense just tee off, and our offense couldn't sustain drives.
If Champ gets healthy and we have no signicant injuries going into the game (or IN the game) we can definitely play with the Colts Offense this year. Our big weak spot is at safety (Lynch..just too slow now) and we have 8 weeks to find help there. Unfortunately, they have improved their defense , especially on the line and will give us some trouble. However, NOBODY has stopped our run game this year, yet. Running is the way we will need to do it this year, thus opening up our pass offense. If we go in healthy we can beat them. It will not be like the last two years.
If wishes and buts we're nickles and dimes I'd also be a millionaire.^5
