I love this guy. Reminds me of Howard Griffith during our SB run. Guy who knew he wasn't going to get any carries, yet goes and blows his guy up anyway.
He is not doing to bad in the recieving dartment though:
8 rec for 64 yards and 4 TD.
He also has a rushing TD as well.

KJ has been very impressive. First and foremost he has made some big blocks. Then out of PA he is very dangerous and has been an animal around the RZ.

not bad for a guy that wouldnt have even made the team last season hadnt it been for mikey´s injury in the last pre-season game ... :)

He has been money in the bank this year. He isn't the biggest FB in the league, he can't put everyone on their ass, but he sure does go out there and try to do it. This guys has some of the best hands for a FB that I have seen in a long time.
Here's to him staying healthy cause we need him.

KJ is filling a void. We have a FB again. Another guy to account for in the red zone - perhaps one less defender in the box.
Anyone notice Cecil Sapp (I believe) filled in for FB in the fourth - got knocked goofy. Came back to the huddle and was very disoriented. Hope he is okay.

39 ain't 29....but he's damn good. This is why when people were adopting QB and CB and WR...I was adopting FB. You could tell last year that he was going to do the job nicely.

Any chance I could trade you my co-watts adoption for your STUD adoption?

If you want to get on team KJ...you're more than welcome.

He caught my eye right away last year. MA wasn't a natural fullback whatsoever. Droughns could do it, but didn't like it, and he was basically too small, so I don't blame him. Kyle has some natural FB skills. He's a little tall, a little light, but has played great and has great hands, something that I believe you HAVE to have good hands at that position.

I'm still amazed that he came down with that particular catch. Easily one of the guys I root for the most. That's saying a lot - between him, Mike Anderson, the rook corners, the linebackers and any number of other vets, it's hard to have a favorite player this year.

The guy has been a legit recieving threat, especially in the red-zone. He has been throwing some great blocks this year as well. A rare find indeed... and his horsey dance cracks me up....

The guys in the huddle were motioning to the sideline .."homey here is on cloud nine, a little help..."
I haven't found any reports, so I assume he's okay.

He doesn't win all the battles....he and trotter had some great collisions last night...but he's solid and just learning the craft.

I'd also like to make a shotout to Devoe. He had 5 catches (tied with Rod Smith) and really helped change the momentum of the game for us.

You got that right...he and Adams both just need game experience...the desire is already there.

His TD was awesome (44 of his 59 yds), but it did seem like the rest were on screens that got swallowed up.
Not much to look at, but hopefully an important part of the playcalling chess match.

KJ is no Howard Griffith in the run block department.
But KJ is a hell of a receiver.

Exactly. He's not the human plow that Griffith was, but he can do other things like catch the ball for touchdowns.

Denver got Griffith after four years in the league, and he was polished and knew the game. KJ is still learning what it means to be NFL Fullback, and his future looks bright. Best part is KJ really wants to play, he even stopped the horse dance because Shanahan did like it and KJ didn't want to piss off the coaches.
