Any word on how serious? He was limping BADLY near the end of the game.

My only concern is that if this is a significant knee or ankle injury.....with him potentially missing playing time....as well as Carswell gone....how are we going to run multiple tight end sets?

Wesley Duke, anyone?

He was limping but not too badly. I think he just twisted an ankle. To me it seems like a sprained ankle and nothing more, but we will seewhen the injury report coms out.

Well we still have Duke and Nate Jackson who are alot faster than Putz, but not near as tough.

Nate Jackson always seemed to make the difficult catch. I'd like to see him get some playing time, but not because of an injury.

Looked like a sprained ankle to me. Sometime they can walk it off...if it's a high sprain it can linger all season. I'm not positive it wasn't a knee sprain, but usually a hurt knee drops a player. Usually...remember when Olandis played on a torn ACL? That was something else.

Trivia tidbits:

Both John Elway and Hines Ward don't have their ACL ligaments.

Anyone hear if Cullpepper has an ACL, I was out of the room for a second and I'm assuming he's being examined right now.

No news on Pepper yet, but im almost positive their going to say hes done for the year.

BTW, Johnson looks good back in Purple, i think he may just be able to help the Vikes come back to a little bit of respectability this year.

I'm not sure Putz is really that tough. He may just showboat a little by taking blows to the head and then walking them off.
