I love what they did with the broncos. Everything was black/white except the orange stripe.

Just what I thought. Eagles, Eagles and more Eagles. Interviews? All Eagles. Sailsberger? McNabb, oh yeah, the pressure of Denver helped.
By that review, you would think ESPN was shocked that Denver crushed them in Denver.

1st time in NFL history a team has fielded a 300 yard passer and 2 100 yard rushers. Most yards allowed since the 92. Most points allowed in the Andy Reid era.

Mad props? No they didn't. They talked more about McNabb than they did Plummer for crying out loud and he was one of if not the best QB this week so far.
They showed the Giants game next and all interviews and pretty much all talk was about the Giants. They talked about that game like the Giants beat Washington. They talked about our game like the Eagles lost.
I don't really care really. I like how the media doesn't want to talk up the Broncos.

I could be crazy, but I still don't feel like they were giving us 'mad' props. They made it out more like the Eagles lost rather than Denver beat them. 49 points scored all on TDs, and they only showed like 3 of the TDs. Yet they showed all of Phillys TDs.

They did focus on the Eagles loss more than the Denver win, you gotta admit. But this week we are going to see a lot more people jump on the wagon after they got off last week. Its going to be a tough week with all the positive press.
Good thing we get 2 weeks off to rest and focus ont he Raiders.

And I guess Denver should be 0-8. Well that would make the Media happy, then they could suck on McNabbs cock and TOs balls a little more.

During the game, I just loved how the announcer gave every excuse for to the defender for why Devoe made the TD after the catch. It was a bad throw, the grass was wet, if Plummer had only not thrown the ball behind him. But yet when Bailey misses a tackle and hurts his hammy again, he gives all props to TO then talks about how the Eagles have not loss when TO scores.
Amazing.

Except it was all true. Look at how Devoe has to come back for the ball. It wasn't a great throw. It got there, and maybe the rain had something to do with it, but you never want to throw behind a receiver like that. When Devoe had to go back for it, it worked out because the defender slipped.
As for the Bailey deal, on TO's next catch, the long one, they give props to Bailey for even being able to keep up and make the tackle at all in his injured state.

Maybe the throw was bad because of the cold and the rain with the ball being very wet. Funny how they didn't consider that as a factor for the throw. The fact is that the media before and after are/were sucking off the Eagles, and the announcers during the game were sucking off the Eagles even after being down 21 or 28 points.

Keep in mind that the Fox outfit carries the National Conference, and I think there is some of that competition between the Conferences in their comments. I really haven't watched ESPN shows for so long, I don't even know the commentators you guys are talking about.
It doesn't pay to get all upset about whatever anyone else is saying - or not saying - about the Broncos. It is a reality that until the Broncos get past the first round of the playoffs, they will not get much respect. The print media is doing a better job of reporting on the Broncos than TV reports. Maybe you watch too much TV and don't pay enough attention to the print media?

that was Aikman making the call - and he is generally pretty fair. IMO.
in this case, he was right - if the ball was not thrown behind devoe, chances are they don't even pick up the 1st.

espn was all over the Giants yesterday...and that is okay, the Giants played good and had reason to play inspired. Tiki had a record setting day...although it isn't an NFL record.
where i take issue with this was that the broncos had every reason to play inspired too, and also had a record setting day. "House" was in a terrible car accident and is lucky to be alive - no coverage, unless i missed it - they became the 1st team in history to have a qb throw for 300 and two rb's over 100...very little mention of that.
the press really doesn't like denver.
funniest thing i heard all day - at the end of the bronco game and fox highlights - Brown declared "san diego might just be the best team in the AFC" - if so, then why are they at .500?

The ball was tipped, but had enough on it to get there.....even in the rain. If a Manning had thrown it, you would have seen it on "best throws of the decade"......but Plummer was just lucky.:pity:
