Ugh....the purple kitties. Can't stand Snyder at all. I hope hope the buffs take them out behind the woodshed. Pretty much every advantage favors the buffs but the homefield.

Playing in the little Apple is always a challenge. I still see the buffs pulling out the W. Buffs by 13.

Gonna be a battle, always is. Fortunately, we seem to be much healthier than we expected and we may even see our o-line back at near full-strength if all goes well.
Never count out the Mildcats. They always suprise and get excited about these games.

Gotta go with the Buffs over Saul's pathetic Wildcats ;)

yeah, ive been lurking for a while and just wanted to have a look at the "private" forums. cant really discuss things there as i never get to see the buffs. buffs are not good enough to be streamed on the site where i watch the top college games and 15 € per game on dvd is a bit too much for me right now. however, i just got the buffs demolition of nebraska and the big 12 ccg on dvd.

i dont really have any connection to cu. the broncos are the only us team i really do care about, but i just prefer to root for the "local" teams so the buffs and the avs get the nod. nba is a different thing as a fellow countryman playing for the mavs. cant root against dirk.

Damn, now that I think about it, you're right. 7 pts is a hella lot, especially on the road... ah screw it though, Buffs will cover! God I love seeing the Wildcats stumble and if we take care of buisness and our d continues to play well, we should snipe another win in the Little Apple! GO BUFFS~!

I know bro... I am such a freaking slacker. I really really tried to get over there more, but for whatever reason, I've always had a hard time trying to get on so many boards. I suck

Dude, there are two boards on the internet. Here and Allbuffs. You can do it. The band geeks over there are starting some sort of cool kids club or something...might be worth checking out.

Heh, the band geeks eh? That's the real irony of it all, since I was in CU's band with Sean (BuffSolider76), Becca and Tyler(slidn) for all those years. Hell, both Sean and Tyler were in my squad at one point methinks!

Going to AllBuffs is an adventure. I prefer to just lurk there. Lots of knowledgable fans there, but I don't quite have the sailor's mouth to hang there. ;)

I think if K-State had beaten aTm last week, the game would have had a better shot at being on TV. I think the TV execs expect CU to roll over us. I'm hoping to prove them wrong...:~ohyah!:

We'll find out what this K-State team is made of. Nobody is picking us to win (even at home), so we need to come out firing on all cylinders. The weather is supposed to be sunny in the high 60s, so weather shouldn't be a problem.

We need to win 2 of the last 4 games to qualify for a bowl, so I'll be disappointed if K-State doesn't put their best effort forward. We're a team desperate for wins...

Wow... well listening to the game via the Kstate amateur feed on KKSU was pretty terrible but it at least let me listen to the game. It sounded very much like a typical CU vs KjSU game as always, and were it not for an abosolutely miracle fumble botch by KjSU, we would never have had a chance to win outright, instead going to OT.

I for one am extremely glad the Buffs escaped with the HUGE w today, since I dont think they deserved it because of the way it happened. By the way Saul, here's hoping your player is ok after being carted off the field. It sounded like a terrible injury. Hopes for him. Good luck the rest of the way KjSU

A little late with the post-game reaction, but good win by the Buffs. I was hoping K-State would pull out the win, but it wasn't meant to be. Now, we have to go to Ames or Lincoln and steal at least one of the two victories we still need to qualify for a bowl.

BTW, the injured player (Jermaine Moreira) does have feeling in his extremities. It's not as bad as we thought when we saw him lie unconscious face down in the turf. He was trying to get control of the ball and he took a vicious shot to the head, so a major neck injury WAS feared. I should know more today when I listen to the local sports radio show...

The way the injury sounded on the radio was pretty bad, considering that the closest medical staffer was the CU guys and they didnt even hesitate for a second to rush onto the field after they saw the injury. It must've been pretty horrific if the opposing team's medical staff did that. Lets hope the kid recovers quickly. Keep us in the loop and let us know if he will be ok.

He's out of the hospital and the tests are negative. He even joked with Snyder about playing this week at Iowa State. I don't know about that, but he'll probably be ready for Nebraska in two weeks. It's good news...:thumbsup:
