Who gets signed to the actvie roster now? And what will happen to our red zone/goal-line offense now? Any thoughts???

I figure the Great White Hape....or Watts...we have 5 TE...I just hope he lives...I have nothing personal with the guy, but he's in good hands...they willl get him patched up I pray...

He's done playing I think tho...this sucks.

Just asked the same thing on the Carswell thread. Does Neil get a call? How about Watton?

Anything but Hape

I envision an offensive line move. This is a blow to the already thin OL depth.

Also, its a real tragedy for House and family as well as the Broncos, and on top of that is a huge distraction for the team trying to prepare for Philly. Several of the players (foster and Kyle Johnson) were already quoted saying its hard to focus on football when something like this happens which is so true.

Hope they can get the focus back by Sunday.

I dont blame them if their minds are not on Sunday's game.

Right now, I dont care if Denver wins or loses. Its just a game in the end.

We will sign a guard/tackle.

he was our only backup at two positions I believe.

We lost a great back up tackle/guard and a great decoy or back up TE probably the most sure handed on the team. His versitility will be missed. Will we see more of G. Warren on the goal line? He was there in pre-season, obviously we lose the passing threat but his big body either lead blocking or holding the end for Jake on the roll out.
Maybe the rest of the team can use this tragedy as a rallying cry for the last half of the season, a shot in the arm to dedicate the season to House and his family.

I agree. This will hurt our redzone offense - which was enormously improved from last season.

Where is Chris Myers?

:edit:

I looked on the practice squad and couldnt find him.

I freaked out! I then looked and he was on the roster.

When did we bring him up?

After Q was dropped again I think.

Maybe Watton will get a call.

Dont really matter, House's prescense will be missed in the locker room more so than on the field. Hope he gets better soon.

Myers was brought up after we cut Q again.

Pickin's get slimmer and slimmer as the season bends it's will of attrition...anyone hear if they had to crack him open? I'm no doctor but sometimes it's a tough call whether to crack them open or hope they simply heal...I'm sure our own Dr. Frankenstein knows more than me...one thing is sure, I doubt he ever suits up again...maybe next year, but he would be a 13 year vet and I don't want him blowing out a weakened Aorta next year on the field...I'm pretty ruthless when it comes to what I call meat, but this really sucks...he must of really taken a hit on the driver side door...I saw that car seat and it was bent...he got hit HARD...when it rains it pours I guess, and we ain't talkin' salt...

Anyone who doesn't think OL is priority numero uno next year is crazy.

The draft needs to concentrate on OL and some safties...

Dan Neil sold his house and is thousands of miles away resting his knees...

House brought a goal line threat as a second tackle in the jumbo set...Why is it after going 5-1 the team seems to blow up?

Not to sound crass, it's first to save his life, but sheesh...rough week for the OM tribe...

anyone hear if OF1 made it back safe yet? I heard from Meck once but he was still 1800 miles away...

I think a few fans in the stands made some nice catches of Plummer's throws this year.

Some effort might've been made to sign the fat guy in the South Stands, but the players union protested.

Jake seems pretty adept at giving souveniers...at least they aren't going to the opposing team as much this year...

I hope so. That would be a nice gesture to a man who has given many years to the Broncos.
