To my mind, it's a sad look at how some Democrats think: basically, Republicans are without exception (pick any combination) evil, stupid, demented, bigoted, violent, shallow, and/or delusional. The proper view of them is an angry combination of fear and hatred.

Every time I get depressed enough about Republicans, something always seems to pop up that depresses me more about Democrats. When are they going to learn that "I hate Republicans" is not a winning slogan?

According to LABF they don't have any ideas on the issues. After all in his mind all the worlds problems is the fault of republicans and they would all disappear if more Democrates were elected.

I know this because every time I as him what Dems would do on this topic or that all he says something like "Your like ever Bush supporter. He created the problems, why should we fix them"

The Dems will never win elections on a consistant baises. The comic Bill Mahar(sp?) no fan of Bush said once that "Bush might have a screwed up vision for America, but at leat he has one."

Take Iraq, Where were the Dems to stand up and vote against it?

Kerry, Billarly Clinton, Biden they all voted for it.

The Dem party line is that Bush is 1. Stupid and 2. A liar.

Well if Bush is so stupid and he lied and the Dems are so smart why did the they fall for his lies?

So the sleazy, highschool-drpout mechanic that rips off the college professor by lying to him about his car is smarter and more in the right than the professor?

I'm not making a political argument, I just think that's a pretty stupid thing to say/ask.

They were shown the same intell that Bush had. They had a chance to ask questions to bring up doubts and vote no. They chose not to.

I just think when asked what they would do about Iraq right now, Dems who my vote should have a better answer than "We wouldn't have go in the first place" because that is pointless. The fact is we are there, there is nothing to we can do to turn back time.

If they believe that we should pack up and get out right, now have the balls to say so. If they have another plan, say it. Don't just sit there and repeat the same old "Bush is evil" line.

I don't buy the Bush lied line of the Dems, because then the Russians, French and Germans(who were against the war) all lied too, because they all said Iraq had WMD's.

Don't sit there, like LABF and say well it is Bush and the Republican's fault don't ask us how to solve it. At some point the Dems will have to stop being the Monday Morning QB and have plan of their own.

You never let up with the distortions and right-wing spin, do you?

First, your party goes to extreme lengths to gain control of all three branches of government and to marginalize the influence of the Democrats.

Then, after five years of creating one huge mess after another, you suddenly decide that the Democrats should be held responsible for providing solutions to the problems you have created! (Even when those same Democrats warned you against taking actions which caused these problems in the first place.)

Right-wingers seem to have a pathological inability to take responsibility for their own f_ckups.

The Dems will never win elections on a consistant baises.

Not when your party owns the means of casting and counting the votes, and not when state officials responsible for guaranteeing the integrity of elections also run their states' campaigns for the GOP candidate, that's for sure.

They were shown the same intell that Bush had. They had a chance to ask questions to bring up doubts and vote no. They chose not to.

:bs:

They were shown cooked and forged intel which was later exposed as a pack of lies.

They were conned by the bush misadministration - just like the rest of the world.

First the bush crime family fabricated a case for war, and then they engaged in a cover-up (read: PlameGate.)

I don't buy the Bush lied line of the Dems, because then the Russians, French and Germans(who were against the war) all lied too, because they all said Iraq had WMD's.

:bs:

Another right-wing myth.

However, even if this claim were true, it was Bush - not these other countries - who made a decision to invade and occupy Iraq based on forged documents and facts which were "fixed around the policy," as the DSM shows.

Don't sit there, like LABF and say well it is Bush and the Republican's fault don't ask us how to solve it.

Don't sit there like clarker and deny reality, i.e., that the Iraq disaster is Bush and the GOP's fault.

And don't deflect criticism and avoid responsibility for your party's actions like clarker by arguing that the Dems should be responsible for cleaning up Bush's mess.

It would be more accurate and honest to say that W*GS, when confronted with numerous (and all-too-frequent) real examples of evil, stupidity, dementia, bigotry, violence, shallowness, and/or delusion on the part of republicans currently in power, invariably responds with denial, minimization, deflection of criticism, and by changing the subject.

You don't really believe that Congressman and Senators have access to the same level of intelligence that the Commander in Chief does, do you? They saw the intelligence and info that the Bush Admin wanted them to see.

(Even when those same Democrats warned you against taking actions which caused these problems in the first place.)

Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid will wreck this country financially unless they're eliminated or radically altered - either way, some big chunk of the citizenry is going to get screwed.

Those were all enacted by your party, against the advice of those who knew better.

So don't be whining about how it's not the Democrats' responsibility to fix GOP messes, when your own party has created plenty of messes all on its very own. A pox on mess-making by both parties!

Ha ha ha!

How funny is it that W*GS chooses to focus his criticism on someone like Howard Dean when he's surrounded by real criminals like DeCay, Frist, Libby, Rove, Abramoff, Noe, et al, who, unlike Dean, are in the political driver's seat?

This sort of skewed thinking is what distinguishes W*GS as a member of that dwindling minority of nut cases who still feel compelled to defend bush, I suppose.

He seems to believe almost anything the right-wing propaganda machine spits out in the ongoing effort to excuse GeeDubya's crimes and f_ckups.

When you gonna get it through your thick skull that I'm not a Republican?

Sheesh.

But the fact that you've felt compelled to make a number of comments on this thread shows that I've hit the mark. You are exactly as I described:

"Republicans are without exception (pick any combination) evil, stupid, demented, bigoted, violent, shallow, and/or delusional. The proper view of them is an angry combination of fear and hatred."

Those few words sum up you and all your posts absolutely perfectly.
