I personally like Brett, so I hope he doesn't pull a Marino and get hurt then try to come back and tarnish his reputation.

I never had anything but respect for the Packers organization. I don't like seeing Bret toil in these circumstances.... and can't help but think they would have been contenders again if they didn't run Holmgren out of town.

I suspect that there's a real close correlation between having a weak or inexperienced offensive line and seeing your skill people on offense go down with injuries.

I heard Ferguson will miss between 2 and 4 weeks (rotoworld).

So I got that going for me.

I suspect that the owner of a Packer message board somewhere started a Playoff/SB thread and pissed off the football gods Ha!

Sorry TJ I just had to ;D

I respect the Packers too, but not during the last week of January 1998. The Packer fans and players came into San Diego with so much arrogance, they acted like the Vince Lombardi Trophy was already in the bag. Other than that one week, I never had a problem with the team. Although, there used to be a Packer fan named Aardvark, who could never get over the XXXII loss and used to post on Denver Post board for years.

I dont know if Favre can tarnish his rep much more. We complain alot about Jake's mistakes, but Favre makes just as many.

Agreed, I didn't like Brett before that, his arrogance with the vicodin and during that SB week. But actually it was great because our guys were just silent, no one talked about us, except the Elway factor. I believe that was part of the Packs downfall, they thought they had the game won before they even won it. That was proven when Robinson had his little tirade on the sidelines, calling us worse than the Indianapolis Colts. I started having more respect for Favre a couple of years afterward when he would do anything to win the game, much like Elway. Probably about the time his wife gave him the ultimatum of beer or me. He became more humble. I think he's had more than his fair share of tragedy lately. He should have retired last year because that team is headed for rebuilding.

I was a Packer fan when I was a kid, but getting married to a woman whose whole freakin family is Packer fanatics cured me of that.

i believe that guys name was Arrdwolf. anyway i too used to hate Favre, B4 our guy got his two rings. after Elway retired i kinda liked Favre. he was the anti Marino and now the anti payton. he plays hard and doesnt get up whining to his linemen everytime he takes a hit-e.g. everyone saw payton last monday night?

since the packers show no intention of loading up for one last run for Favre, maybe he should retire sooner than later.

Madden: "people talk about Brett Favre retiring...but they don't undestand how much he loves the game...I think he will overcome these 5 interceptions and that ACL and lead the Packers to the Ice Bowl come December...

Ya see...it goes Boom Wham and then you got the defense going Boom Wham...so what you got is a double Boom Wham...now what Brett does is Triple Boom Wham with the rollout...notice the terrified look on his face...that's the look of a champion....

The Packers are 1-5 and poised to take control of the division over the 3-3 Bears...

Yep, Sherman has his team really cooking this year...at 1-5 Brett is poisied to go out with another SB ring...you heard it here first...

Ya see...what the Packers are doing is luring other teams to sleep...ya see...what ya do, when they ain't lookin, is steal the ball...then ya run...ya just gotta make sure you don't pull a Jim Marshall...ya gotta run the right way...then you don't spike the ball...you just act like it was alll part of the game...

Ya see...it's like Boom Bam thank you Maam...you don't take prisoners when you flop on the wife...she is trapped...that's how Brett is treating the Niners tonight...like me flopping on my 70 year old hag...

It's pretty simple...ya just flop like this see...wham, boom...she's stunned...then you can pretty much do what you want because she's stunned...I usually have to go to the bathroom to get Viagra but she's so knocked out I can give he a gut punch to buy time and still make it back before she is able to escape...

While I am letting the Viagra take it's course...(I just take a handfull...I'm not sure, but they are kinda easy to swallow), I pin the old girl down so she's properly prepared for my

Oh never mind...
