Can't say I agree with the decision, but I trust Bohn and I have faith that Watson will be gone.

Nope, but then how many potential players have either.

And if you say they would meet him, I doubt it. They wouldn't even entertain the offer after reading the media articles/reports about what happened. Myself, if my son was going to play college ball and all I had was what has been said in the media I wouldn't even consider letting my son go there.

That's pretty freaking lazy man. Recruiting has been effected because of him not having an extension.His extension will bring sttability to the program. The dude in my avatar was recruited by GB when GB was at NW. He spoke glowingly about Barnett, as did his parents. I have met Barnett a few times and have spent a decent amount of time talking with him. I would trust him with my son in a heartbeat. Now, some of his coaching decisions are definately up for debate.

Very surprised at that decision....My guess it blows up in their face pretty hard. From what I've been told through the grape vine, Barnett makes most attorneys look ethical.

How is it lazy when almost everything that has been published in newspapers, magazines, whatever has been against Barnett and what happened?

Parents are going to see that stuff and they aren't going to want their sons to go that environment. This is nothing against Barnett or CU...just plain facts and how the general public is going to think.

Don't go off on me I didn't say I agreed with it I just said what the general public thinks. If my kid was going to play college ball at a D1 school, and going only off what the general public has heard and thinks, my kid would not attend CU.

I didn't make myself clear.

The perception of what happened by the public are the facts according to them irregardless of what really went down. And unfortunately it is all that most of the parents are going to know when picking schools for their kids.

Come on Rascal, there will be zero problem with recruits for CU cause I am sure all of the kids parents are biased CU fans and alumn and will see it just like him and his biased CU grapevine. ;)

Just took a peak at their recruiting so far and really lighting the world on fire. 9 verbal commits so far with a pair of 1 stars, 6 two stars and just one 3 star and that is a Juco player.

So what do you think Rascal, so are these kids and parents wanting no part of Barnett or is CU a mid-major? That recruiting board looks like a MAC school. Worse than sorry old KU for gawd sakes...KU has three 3 stars so far. But me and my grapevine doesn't know much. Hilarious!

Nappy - you can question Barnett's attention to what was going on around him, you can question the fact that he sometimes speaks his mind without thinking of the implications, you can even question his ability to coach, but don't question his person ethics. They are beyond reproach.

I am around him quite frequently - once or twice a month. I don't understand your comment about betting my home on it.

And no one who is a Notre Dame fan has any room to talk when it comes to recruiting ethics.

Was just seeing how confident you were in his ethics. I will trust your judgment if you know him well on a personal level. I don't know him personally so I certainly can't and wouldn't speak to his ethics with any confidence. I do know someone I would deem a pretty credible source with ties to him and his Northwestern days and they have made comments that certainly call his ethics heavily into question if even remotely true. I have no reason to believe the persons comments to not be true but not knowing first hand I certainly wouldn't bet my home on it and will defer to your first hand knowledge.

1 star...2 star...3 star..4 blah, blah, blah. Recruiting is overhyped and overplayed and is a WEAK excuse for arguments sake. But weak arguments are par for the course with Nappy!Hilarious!

It certainly isn't an exact science as it is not uncommon for a 5 star player to suck or a 1 or 2 star to be overlooked and become a college stud however it gives a good general trend to the talent level. That is probably too much for you to grasp and understand however.
