Before I make my point I think its good for me to point out that I consider myself conservative.
That being said, Jon Stewert invites any conservative member of government or media onto his show, plugs their books, and lets them get their point across. Then procedes to make them look like fools. This man is very smart and makes political analysts pale in comparison. Granted he does have a "home field advantage" with a very liberal audience, but he outwits anyone that comes on the show (or the crossfire guys when he went to theirs). Very smart and very funny man

Heh heh heh!
"Is our children learning?"
He has a point, though:
It's a sad day for America when fake news is more honest and informative than real news.

For the sake of discussion I'll play Devil's Advocate. I like the guy and enjoy the show, but you could also say that he goes extremely easy on democrats/liberals. I don't lose sleep over it, but I also wouldn't mind seeing him tear into politicians across the board regardless of affiliation.

He doesn't claim to be "fair and balanced" though. He generally is easier on liberals because they share his same view. It's a comedy show and really shouldn't be held to the same level as news programs.

Yeah I know, but I can laugh at liberals, too. That said, I was just playing Devil's Advocate and enjoy the show. Craig Kilborn was also pretty great.

I think the Colbert Report is equally funny.

Can't decide if Colbert is going to make it on his own..
He's funnier as a foil than a front man.
I also really like Black. He is one funny dude.

What he did to Bill O'Reilly a few nights ago was absolutely stunning...
