They are playing really well as a group, especially in the run game. It's a tough call to distinguish one from the others, I really like how Lepsis, Hamilton and Foster have played and Nalen is still the leader in the middle. Hamilton is the badest 280 pounder in the NFL on the offensive side of the ball.

I vote for Ben. He gets to the second level, which is hard by itself, but what distinguishes him is he keeps pushing the linebacker/safeties away from the runs. that's impressive.

I COULDN'T GET THE GAME yesterday but I read Foster handled Stran all day. is this true?

I went with Foster. His progress has been impressive.
And yes, he handled the slimmed down Strahan quite well.

Foster, he has been very good all year. He has let up a couple sacks, but he has mainly dominated any DE hes been up against.
Ben is right there too because like Khan said he cpnsistenly gets to the second level and opens the hole up even bigger.

Tough choice, but almost everyone of the long runs by Bell and Anderson have been to the left side, on a right handed team. Foster is going to be very good, but I would have to tip my hat to Hamilton and Lepsis.

Hamilton... he's going to be a great replacement for Nalen... his hand placement and technical proficiency are phenomenal... for his size to be doing the things hes been doing this year is unbelievable.

I don't think Hamilton will replace Nalen...I think the intention is for Chris Myers to be groomed to take over for Nalen...assuming he demonstrates that he has the right stuff.
I know the coaches were worried about taking the chance on waiving Myers, but the feeling was that kicker Paul Ernster would be claimed (at the time) & the Jerry Rice saga had yet to play out to it's conclusion.
There just wasn't anyone else that they thought they might not lose if waived.
Hamilton is a terrific L Guard, maybe the best in Denver since Keith Bishop...and he was undersized (even by 1980's standards).
I think they have him right where they want him.

Hamilton is listed as a back-up center on the depth chart.
I guess the feeling is that, because he IS so smart & good, he could step in at center when Nalen retires & the position wouldn't miss a beat.
Remember, center is the QB of the O-line. Nalen is masterful at calling defensive stunts & blitzes, so whoever eventually takes over will have a critical job to fill.

I like the idea of having Myers at center and Hamilton at guard personally. With us facing more 3-4's I think Myers would have a better chance against the bigger NT's then Hamilton would.
Our tackles are playing well and the interior has played better then I had thought. Still think we could use an upgrade though at guard on the strong side. Hamilton can play the fast side with Lepsis, but I don't think Carlisle is enough of a grader (although he has done...well this year) to compliment Foster on our power side.
