Since 2002 we are 13-15 after the 6th game of the year. Someone explain to me why this team cannot finish games, and cannot finisht their seasons.

I was hoping we were going to reverse the "Curse of the 7th Game" this year. The previous two years when we started 5-1, we lost the 7th game of the season. However, I STILL think we are more talented than we have been for a while. Plummer is playing well and our defense is serviceable. I'm hoping this is just a hiccup and we can move on with the business of winning...

I commend you for your optimism. I wish I shared it.

Maybe now the preasure will be off to try and beat that "7th game." (Kaylore reaches for optimism in a disappointing evening. :( )

Yeah this is what people forget. It was at NY. Well guess what. The game against the eagines is AT DENVER. We are one hell of a team at home and we will prove that next week. I almost hope though that we trail going into the 4th... because then our coaches will have the right type of game plan heading into it. Instead of the 3 and out offense and the prevent the win defense.

With 4 home games left, looks like a 10 win season. No home play-off game.

A 10 win season would probably get a first round bye in the NFC....oh well

I still say 9-7

I see us dropping one at home this year

I agree with Shack (seem unusual). I'd say we drop one at home as well.

To answer the question: Look this team needs a killer instinct. I think it starts with the QB. Jake Plummer is just capable of winning the "Shanny" way. Shanahan's success in this league has always been associated with a franshise QB and a guy with as much competitivness as himself. Jake Plummer just is not that guy. He has not embraced the city and the pressure of being the Broncos QB, just like Griese didn't.
