It's BS! Protectionism for something that MAY happen in the future. Total crap. If they aren't responsible then they have nothing to worry about.

Wrong. A number of cities and other governments have filed lawsuits against various firearms manufacturers. IIRC, the feds under Clinton tried the same thing, using the extortion of the tobacco industry as a model.

If they aren't responsible then they have nothing to worry about.

Ahhh, but paying lawyers and grinding through the judicial system isn't cheap. It's not free to get out of a frivolous lawsuit.

Instead banning lawsuits and removing the ONLY way to fight corporations, wouldn't legislation that provides for anyone who files frivolous lawsuits to pay both parties expenses be better?

That's not quite true - and the act in question doesn't ban all lawsuits.

True, but then advocating that runs you right into the Democratic Party and their masters in the TLA. Would you want Ted Kennedy to pontificate on what a lousy person you are?

If you don't know by now I don't tow the party lines, I guess you won't ever accept it.
