Was saying Shannahan looks smart and pointed out that shanny started pretty good the last 3 seasons however wouldnt give back shanny his "IQ POINTS" that Jim Rome took away from Shanny on draft day for drafting Moc, but will put the IQ points into an escrow account so shanny can pick them up at the end of the year....
Well i still think Jim Rome is an Idiot. Thoughts and did anyone else catch this?

I listen to 950 monday morning, driving back from Denver, and Rome got us to nebraska, I gotta say the dude CAN be pretty damn funny. he was telling a story about how he razzes his son about playing soccer.
"hey son did you quit soccer yet?" funny stuff.

Rome will bash someone then kiss their ass like noone else. He used to always blast mickelson saying he was piece of sh@t that would never win anything then sucked him off repeatedly after his win at the masters. Don't waste my time with rome.

Before he went national, Rome had one of the best radio shows around. When he expanded his markets, he became too image conscious and his already phony radio personality became even more plastic. For a while I was kind of fascinated by how directionless he proved himself to be ethically. He'll make, or laugh at, extremely tasteless comments, but then get all prissy about something equally offensive.
He also shows total deference to anyone who'll appear on his show. Once you become a regular, the host won't criticize you anymore, unless you do something completely out of line. Meawhile, people who shun him, or stopped appearing for whateve reason, get snarky comments as a matter of course.
