Its the scouting matchup for the Giants/Broncos. Only one blurb I wanted to mentioned, which I think I am allowed to quote legally as it is a highlight and preview of a linked subscription article...

Ordinarily Shockey and Barber present mismatches that hand-cuff their opponents, but Williams has emerged as one of the best cover linebackers in the NFL and he can handle Shockey on his own if necessary, and Wilson and Gold work in conjunction to keep Barber bottled up in the passing game.

Woot, at least someone recognizes!

DJ has been "quiet", but ive been watching him and hes done very well in the roles assigned to him. But in saying that, Brandon has been the one to cover the TE most of time and him being out is going to hurt. But I think Shockey can be controlled by one guy, hes not a Gates or Gonzo, not that special.

Thanks Alec. Good to see some media recognition. I really hate this whole quiet effectiveness thing. Hopefully the arrangement can change a little bit. But its good to see some media props there.

Quiet is good. It means you are doing your job. Regardless what some people here think just because they are looking at tackle total, he is having a great year.
