From the Shanny press conference he said Brandon has a tear in his pectoral muscle and he will be out 3 weeks... MRI was positive

Damn...what's the word on Ferguson? We are going to be terribly thin at safety if he can't go, to say nothing of the cornerback situation if Bailey doesn't play.

Fergy has a sprained ankle and will test it out Wednesday

Brandon is one of my favorites; I love his versatility. It's a tough loss but I am excited about the prospects of seeing big hittin Marques Anderson in the lineup.

Anyway I like Sam Brandon because he is a rebel and sucks that hes out 3 weeks.

I want to see Browner as well, but unfortunately he's on injured reserve.

Marques Anderson can't cover worth a shiiiattt.. this is a big blow to the secondary especially w/ the giants and Shockey up next... no big nickel w/o Brandon

I would like to see Cox start if Ferguson can't Cox looked good when he was filling in this last game for Ferguson and Brandon.

anderson can cover the TE, he just can't keep up with speed receivers.

Why? Browner worked himself from UDFA to second team over Brandon and LeSeuer in the pre-season. Had he not been injured I wouldnt be surprised if he were starting over Fergy with Lynch at this point.

I dont think anyone can make any kind of sense as to why MA is still getting more carries than Tatum... that wont be the case against NY come sunday.

Anderson does have 5 ints in his career so he is capable of covering.

Wow, another terrible thing to hear. Dang it!!

No big nickel w/o Brandon. Brandon covered Gates and Gonzo and did a fantastic job. Hopefully by now Anderson has the system down and is ready to jump in there and get the job done.

Also Cox was forced to play some saftey this TC so i expect him to get a lot more reps this week as well. I was really confident about Shockey being a non threat but this injury is pretty big for us. We can over come tho! :Broncos:

The Giants are ranked 25th in offensive rushing yards per game and average only 3.3 yards per rush. So, they need to pass to win. However, they are tied for last in completion percentage, so hopefully we can pressure them into incompletions with our stunts and blitz packages. Pryce needs to get into the backfield like he has all season. Hopefully, Williams sobers up before Sunday too.

I hate to see Sam get hurt but I'm intrigued with Curome Cox and we should get a good look at him in the secondary sunday and not just ST... Brandon has been a stud on ST too...

We really need SAm wit h Champ still hobbled and facing Antoiehr Manning with Shockey & Burriss this weekend.

We are going to have to win the front four battle early and often and open up theoffense like we did in the second qrt on Sunday to win this one. NY has a good O-line though so this is by no means an in the bag game with the secondary injuires we have.

Just heard on Radio Brandon out at least three weeks. Champ and Ferguson expected to play Sunday

With no rushing game, against the Bronco D front four, how many times do you think Payaton Jr. can guide his team down the field, from inside his own twenty (compliments of Big Foot), against the Broncos D?

Don't worry. Be happy. ;D

Hurts to lose Sam, though. No doubt about it.

I'd rather lose Sam than another defensive starter. If Nick cant go then I'll start worrying. We have enough defensive backs on this roster to cover an injury or 2. You wouldn't have thought that in Week 1 but the way Williams and Foxworth have stepped up to the challenge is unbelieveable. If you'd have told me we'd be 5-1 after our first game and without the services of Champ Bailey 1/2 the time I would've laughed my nuts off.

There's 53 players on this roster and so far this season nearly everyone has stepped in and done the business when they've been needed, just more of the same this weekend.

Which one of our CB is best at playing saftey? Best guess. I thought a couple of them took that on? If Ferguson is out there I hope he's 100%.
