There he stood, the untouchable, iconic Brady. Just over five minutes left in the fourth quarter of a game. One last drive. Another great comeback. Two time outs, 28-20, in Mile High, all the supernatural forces in the world wouldnt be able to stop Brady. But the Denver Defense did. And not only did they stop him, they stuffed him. Darrent Williams on the intentional grounding, and Al Wilson on the nighty night hit.
The momentum was on New Englands side, this was Tom Brady, and five minutes is an enternity for him. This could've been an overtime game, but Denver held on, their defense finished the game, and only the very best can do that.
And thus I knew, in that beautiful ephemeral moment when New England had to punt the ball away to finish the game on offense, that this was a Championship Defense.

I wouldn't say this is a championship defense just yet.
If they can stop the Giants and Eagles O, I might be convinced, but not yet.
Also second step to truly become an elite defense. Limit penalties.
We had the most defensive penalties before this game and I'm pretty we are to continue that streak after this week.

Oh yeah stopping the giants offense will tell if this is a championship defense.
Doubt that. Maybe the Eagles, but Dallas did a pretty good job there.

I hope your kidding. Here's an example of how good a CB he is. In "The Sporting News" this week they asked 53 WR in the league "Who's the toughest one-on-one cover-man in the league?

5-1. Giants could be a trap game, being between the two conference champions. Broncos, like i have said all year, need to remain patient. They stay patient, they win.
