The most surprising part was what he chose to wear.

hard to say Romo was a guy who would wear pink. I dont agree with the way he chose to live his life but you do have to say he was a tough sob who was willing to do anything to win.

Kind of besides the point man, its cheating regardless. he was a team leader here in Denver but just like Palmeiro it cheapens his legacy. plus, some of the things he did off and on the field were pretty tasteless.

I'm not saying he is a great guy. He was a vicious, driven player. It sounds like he got caught up in his own hype and by his own admission was willing to do anything to stay on top. I think this little confession will probably keep him out of the HOF. However, I think his dedication is unmatched. The guy freaking lived to play and that was probably the problem. One thing is for sure he wasn't a pu#### by any streach of the imagination.

He is a guy you love to have on your team but hate when he is not. Never thought he would cry though, shows what DRUGS do to your brain & what Roids do to your Tbag.

BTW I was wearing my SB XXXII Hat at the HOF ceremony when I ran into Steve Atwater & was almost embarrassed when I gave it to him to sign & it had Romos sig on there. Romo would sign anything!

Hey, was it me, or was the Super bowl ring that Romo was wearing one of the rings he won with the Broncos?

I lost what little remaining respect I had for Romo when he intentionally broke Sharpe's arm. Classless.

Did you see Sharpe's retort this morning on CBS? He was merciless. My interpretation is, he basically said that Romo was a dirty player, on the field, and off...

He didn't use steroids until his final year in Denver. At least he has owned up to his use what's ironic is that steroids never helped him. I mean his legend in the game was already etablished before he started using in 2001. The only thing roids did for him was put another huge smear on his career.

He wasnt lying.
Romo was probably one of the most ethically-challenged players in recent NFL history. The guy is missing a super-ego.

He's a born liar. He was using anything he could get away with for years. It pisses me off that morons like Romanowski get prime time to cry about how they just had no choice and had to lie, steal and cheat to compete while terrific linebackers like Gradishar just aren't controversial enough in their excellence and execution to deserve even a parting nod.
I wanted to deliver him a swift kick during those tears. Hopefully he called up Canseco after the interview and had a good yuk.

I dont think that he ever was on the good side. Even when he was in Denver he still was less-than-decent.

Okay, during those TV commercials, where the kid is practicing football, and his Dad is standing out in the rain watching him, and you hear the kid, now grown up, say, "Dad never had the words to tell me he was proud of me. He never had to, it was written all over his face", maybe a manly tear trickled down my cheek, but outright blubbering?
Not bloody likely.
Romo has become a girly man.

I would say I hope someone would kick him in the nuts but they are probably so small by now that there is nothing to kick.

I have more respect for the guys that admit doing steroids than these losers that everyone it pretty much sure are using but lie about it, they give the "I don't know what i was taking" bull shi_ answers. The guys that step up and are a man about it and say I did it and it was wrong are totally butchered but the guys that continue to lie about it are given the benfit of the doubt because they are lying SOB's.
I'm not exactly talking about Romo here, he is coming out with this to sell books, I guess I have the baseball players more in mind.

I guess all the football players who were roided out of their minds in the 70s and early 80s get a pass.

Steroids in football?
News flash folks. There are more people in sports using steroids than not.
