ESPN's Andrea Kramer, who was live in Denver, said she talked to Champ, and he is going today. Will he finish, I don't know, but it is great to see he is going boys. This was reported about 11:30 central time.

Hopefully, he is 100%. While this is a big game, I don't want to see him rush back and sacrifice more games through reinjury.

Exactly, a lot of tough opponents coming up. Rookies tend to hit the wall and the broncos will have to battle some tough times eventually. Hopefully, champ is completely healthy because we need him to stabalize the defense should the rookies hit a rough spot in the coming weeks. Rather lose this game and have Champ healthy for the whole season, rather than win this game and have him miss a great chunk of the rest of the season

I disagree about Champ sitting to heal up for Philly and NY. The NE game is a conference game with far more weight. This game could potentially provide two games worth of padding for the Broncos in the playoff seeding. Conference record, head-to-head record, and overall record are 3 of the first 4 tiebreakers in playoff seeding.

This game could be the difference between a bye and a divisional playoff game. Play Bailey.

I had not thought of that angle. Good point. Hopefully we will get our cake and eat it too: he plays the whole game without incident injury-wise.

Anyone think that Shanahan sat Bailey on purpose...just to have him for this game?

Sure, Sassy...this is probably the biggest game outside of our division that we will see in the first half of the season. We took care of Jacksonville, but we flopped against Miami. Those non-conference division games are very important.

I dont think that that really matters. The rooks have done alright, but Champ is the top CB in the league.

I'll bet Brady throws deep 1st play to test out Bailey's hammy..

I hope the Pats go at him. It would be nice to see him get a couple of picks today.

me too. After sitting out 2 weeks i think he should be able to go at least 90%. I dont think the coaches would let him go otherwise.

Goog to hear tho!! im pumped!! :deadhorse

I just hope he is REALLY ready. I'd be happier if he had run full tilt in practice all week. Since he hasnt gone all out yet I supect NE is going to really test him and try to stretch him early to see if he has that 3rd gear.

I don't entirely trust Champ's evaluation alone because he always wants to be out there which is great but not always smart. Lets hope it works out and he stays healthy AND not get burned.

Boss scored today, Champ can't be one-upped by his little brother.
