All you OSU guys step up and make your predicitons for next weeks game at the "ROCK".....
IU gave Iowa all they wanted....3 point game with about 8 minutes to go up on their home field which hasn't surrendered a loss in 22 straight games. James Hardy gave them far more than they wanted with 12 catches for 200+ yards and a TD.
Far cry from a great team at this point but some really good things going on in Bloomington with Coach Hep and finally headed in the right direction.

Looks like a pretty good estimate to me...My guess is 28-17 OSU however I think OSU is the ideal top tier team for IU if they were to pull off the shocker....Fairly low scoring offense and great defense. IU's offense can throw it around ball yard pretty well so despite OSU's awesome D I could see IU making a few big plays and with a lucky break or two it could be enough to put them over the top.

agreed. i was surprised that OSU was able to manage 35 points against MSU so they are due for another loss soon. MSU choked that one away yesterday.

IU's biggest weakness is their CB's stopping the medium and deep routes. They are both really fast but just Soph's and still very raw and inexperienced. Holmes and Ginn could absolutely abuse them if Tressel would open up it up but knowing Tressel he might do us a favor and keep it very conservative.

Other way around, OSU choked until the 4th quarter, MSU was lucky to be in that game with the way Ohio State was playing.
For the Indiana game, 27-14 final score with OSU winning.

It is probably just gas but I am getting a good feeling about tomorrow. If the Bucks come out and stomp us by 50 that feeling will be nothing more than nausea which is certainly possible but right now I like this match up opportunity for an upset. IU's defense is playing hard and solid against the run but pretty vulnerable against the pass. OSU's offense is dead last in the Big Ten so far, which isn't shocking due to the way Tressel likes to play but that should help IU's defense from being mulled. The IU offense has moved it well and is getting better every week. Iowa have a very solid defense and IU rang it up pretty good on them. OSU has a nasty, nasty D but I think IU could score enough to pull off the stunner.
We will see how brilliant or silly I am in about 24 hours.

Well trying to beat Ohio State is a bit of a tougher feat than trying to get over on Baylor. IU's offense really stunk it up yesterday. Way overmatched by OSU's defense.
What is the story with the Sooners? Having to go to OT to beat Baylor, at home? OUCH...Times are a changing...

Not a bad game Indiana, it was a lot closer for most of the game than I had hoped for(although I think the strip for TD was bs and shouldve been forward progress), but the score of 41-10 looked a lot worse than the actual game.
I can tell that IU is improved, they were in this game through the half and OSU's defense just took over and Indiana couldn't stop Kudla and the blitz.

Do you want excuses??? You're a chefs fans so I guess you are used to that...in that case, we were down to our 5th team tailback who had fumblitis (3 on the carpet) but he still ran for 176 and 2 TDs. Bomar has a bum ancle so, they are not letting him run. He threw for 269 1 TD 2 INTs (one on a hail mary at the half).
Baylor only had 291 in offense 60 of that came on the last play of the game to tie the ball game. They also had a Kick return for a TD.
Our seconday is horrid, that's the bottom line. We cut out the turnovers and we win this game by 3 TDs. What is IU's excuse???

Other than just sucking they actually did get jobbed by the officials with two very costly mistakes.
The first series of the game IU forces OSU on a 3 and out and during the punt one of the officials blows his whistle while the ball is in the air and the punt returner pauses and flinches and muffs the punt in which OSU recovers...They let the play stand and OSU scores two plays later from about 25 yards out.
At the start of the second half IU kicks off with trick high and short pooch type of kickoff and some dumb a$$ official blows the whistle while that is in the air again.. IU recovers it but they decide to re-kick because of the inadvertent whistle....
OSU dominated the game but in typical Tressel style despite the complete domination IU was only down 7 points early in the 3rd quarter after IU's defense took the ball away and scored. If they don't get hosed on those two inadvertent whistles could have possibly been tied or even ahead. I have never seen officials so incompetent that they blow the whistle while a kick is in mid air not once, but twice in the same game. Very weird. OSU was bigger, stronger and faster at nearly every position and should have won by 50 but because of a little luck and Tressel IU actually had an outside chance of taking the game to the wire if it weren't for the pathetic officials.

They are definitely better and play a lot harder but this game was the worst they offense had looked all year. OSU played a big hand in that as they have the players to make most offenses look bad but Iowa has a very tough defense and IU moved it at will on them so I have much higher expectations for the offense in this game.
