Who to root for this weekend??? I hate the Chefs almost as much as the Faiders. That being said, the more Redskin losses the better for us. Who will you guys root for this weekend?

I'm cheering for the refs.

Let's put it this way, if my vet told me that the only way I could save my dog's life would be if I'd root for the Chefs, I still couldn't do it. The only team I hate more is the Cornholers.

I would be shocked if anybody wearing blue and orange is pulling for the Chiefs. Even if it means moving from Marcus Nash range in the draft up to Willie Middlebrooks range.

He makes a great point. Root against division rivals and enjoy the savings on your draft pick. Period.

Go Chefs.

Yuck... I think I just threw up a little in my mouth!

Right now, the chiefs game is not going to change much for the redskins. Maybe they go from 10-6, 9-7 to like 8-8. As a broncos fan, I want to see the division rival always lose especially when it's the chiefs. I want some separation before the game @ arrowhead.

I wouldn't mind having some space... but I also wouldn't mind it being close. Force us to have to bring our A game to CamaroHead. It's been too long since we punched them in the mouth in their own back yard!

I hate the Chefs as much as anybody..... A loss here could likely send the Skins back to reality and have them doubting themselves. That could be the beginning of a nice 2-10 run for them to closeout the season! 5-11 likely gets us a top 10 pick... THAT'S WHAT I'M ALL ABOUT!

This is one of those games that I will be happy with either loser! Chefs losing is good for us. Skins losing is good for us. I just think the Skins have some ground to make up after getting 3 jacked-up wins early in the season! A smell a long losing streak coming!

I'm for the chorfs because I've never seen them as a longterm challange for the division.

Once I saw the thread name I knew whatthe subject was. I'm hoping for the Redskins. I'll sacrifice one or two spots in the draft to have the Chefs fall another game behind Denver.

Added benefit we'll seee less and less chef trollergy around here too.

It's a long season, and lots can happen. Knock KC back. Go skins.

But either way, I'm good.

I don't think you guys should worry about the Chiefs winning however....I don't see you guys losing again so it really won't matter if the Chiefs win as they will always remain behind the Broncos.

That's easy for me. Go Redskins! A single Redskin loss won't matter much. Not much difference between finishing 2-10 or 3-9. Besides, we already have 5 top ten players on the team: Gerard Warren, David Terrell, Courtney Brown, Ron Dayne, and Champ Bailey.

Taco John

Easily root for the Redskins. Every loss the Chiefs suffer puts them that much more behind us. A Redskins loss this week will do us no good in December. A Chiefs loss this week could be the difference it takes to secure the wildcard.

This is easy Go Skins. Were taking 2 Olineman in the 1st round of the draft 1-4 spots one way or the other prolly wont have much effect on which 2 new studs we pick. !Booya!

Root for the Redskins out loud.

Secretly root for the Chiefs inside ( i don't think that 1 win will "make" their season, but i could see another Skins loss turning into a tailspin ).

Be very happy no matter who wins.

Spend Sunday night monitoring a forum implosion at either the Planet or Extremeskins.

Redskins all the way, against ALL division rivals. Outside of our division they can choke away any game they want, and help us more in the draft than they will in standings. Inside the division I want to see them go 3-1. So they end up 6-10 instead of 5-11. No real change in draft position. :charge:

Broncoman13
10-13-2005, 01:47 PM
Hmm, I see a big difference in 6-10 and 7-9. I'm thinking 6-10 gets us in the top 10 barely. 7-9 puts us anywhere from 12-20.

I doubt that I'll even watch the game, frankly.

Unless KC is blowing another big lead or something ... in which case it might qualify as high comedy.

Instead of trying to figure out who I WANT to win, I'll give my analysis of who WILL win. Our resident punching bag admitted from his mom's basement that Portis is dangerous. Therefore, they will be shooting to contain Portis. That opens up the dangerous passing combination of Brunell to Santana. I heard on the radio that Warfield MAY not get his job back, right away. That means McCleon for another week... Hilarious!

ahem...excuse me...

Anyway, Kansas City can't rely on jumping on them early and keeping a lead. Washington has proven they can come back(they nearly tied the Denver game) and Kansas City has proven they can blow a lead. I think this will be a very tough game for the Chiefs to win.

Washington 24
KC 20

Chokes at home... they get the nod from me. 27-21... I just hope Gonze scores 2 or 3 times. Either team can win this one for all I care. This is one of those games that either team that loses helps us! I wish they could both lose!!!!!

I will be cheering out loud for the Redskins, BUT I'm torn between Chargers and Raiders ???

I definately think SD has a better chance of catching us down the stretch, but it's DAMN hard work rooting for the Raiders.

Broncoman13
10-13-2005, 02:41 PM
I agree. I think the Chargers are a real good team. The bad part is the Faid aren't that bad either. They've played a brutually tough opening 4 games. They could easily go on a winning streak and make the AFC West very interesting. Best case scenario...the Faid and Dolts beat the shiat out of each other!

THIS is the one I struggle with most. How do I root for the faders, ever, even when it is obviously good for the Broncs? I know in my head one thing, but my heart says the faders must lose.

Until leisure-suit al leaves, I will hate the faders most. To many late 60's early 70's humiliations still kicking around.

I'll be rooting for the Chiefs to lose and I'll deal with what we get out of the draft when it comes. Other than that, I can't root for the Raiders. I've tried when it benefits the Broncos before but I just can't. It's not in me.
