Got this on the Fantasy Wire...
Oct 13 Chargers quarterback Drew Brees is questionable for this week's game against the Raiders because of a calf injury he suffered on Monday when he was kicked by a defender.
---------------
I only post it because of the implications an injury to him has... You never know what can happen, all it takes is one game for there to be a full blown QB controversey.

Who are the Chargers? We hear more from NFC opposition fans than any freaking Charger fans here.
Is LT still on pace to break single season rushing mark this year? I heard he was shooting for it this year. Kinda tough to get when you can't average at least 100yds per game...

Ive been waiting for this day a long ****ing time...go ahead and sit Drew youll get used to it after awhile! Rivers will have the starting job by the end of the season when Drew has been on the bench so long his ass makes an impression.

Who cares Chargers are the best 2-3 team in our division. LOL
I still think if Rivers was doing well in practice he would have had a shot sooner but Marty is a QB killer.
Funny how the J.P. Loosman Era has ended so soon...hope the bolts put Rivers in!

I think there are more Redskins fans in Miami than Charger fans in SD (or even total charger fans). I haven't been to SD, but I bet there are more Bronco fans there than Charger fans.

I have always thought that Brees was a pretty good QB if he were in the right system. He is not a great QB, but he is pretty good, IMHO. I think he plays hard, and took horrendous beatings early in his career. I honestly think he'd do well in the Broncos' system. He might come available next year.......

Dude you r straight up out of your mind. If you have seen the Chargers play, Brees is having a great run over last year and this year. The Chargers are not going to give up their shot at the playoffs by Playing a selfish kid with no experience. After this year with the way Brees has been playing Rivers will have to go somewhere else as Brees has definitely proved he was no fluke. Holding out was the worst thing that idiot could do. I hope they send his sorry ass to the cardinals.

I was going to post a thread about all the Steeler fans at Qualcom on Monday night but I doubt if anyone cared. It was alarming that the charger fans were nearly outnumbered in their HOUSE!

No doubt. Pittsburgh seems to support its teams pretty good. Of course no team more than the steelers. They have one of the biggest fanbases in sports. In washington, we have a lot of Pitt transplants working here. I would say the Redskins preseason game with the steelers was about 70/30 bordering on 60/40. Of course that's because the corporates here love to give their tix away. They are very loyal fans that travel well. I get sick of pittsburgh people after I go to some of these events. The Penguins also get a large crowd here when they play the caps.
Philly fans also make the easy trip (about 2.5 hrs) and of course the corporate idiots sell them the tickets.
