So, if your girlfriend buys you plane tickets, a hotel room... and two tickets for you and her to see the Broncos play the world champions in Denver for your birthday.... that means she's pretty cool, right?
28 years rooting for this team, and I've never made it to Mile High for a game. Seen plenty of games in other cities... but I'll finally get to root for my team in a stadium full of home fans. (Though, San Diego was close)
So, the first obvious question is... where's the tailgate this weekend? Assuming time allows, I want to check out OF1 and check in with some of you freaks.
How the hell am I going to sleep all week?
God bless my girlfriend.... god bless America.

Yea, I considered popping the question right there.
Anyway, sorry for the self-serving thread. Just a little giddy.
Any suggestions on what to do while there are welcome. We have some time bookends on both sides.
Who else is going?
Damn, couldn't have picked a better game, either.

I've been looking on Ebay. Tickets were still pretty pricey for junky seats, but that could change as the season goes on... and SD is eliminated from playoff contention.

My season tix are nosebleed too on the 25. It is a good view of the field though. I don't think there is a bad seat in the place.

One thing about seeing a game in person...you see just how open recievers are. I was watching a game when Zorn played for the Hawks and it was just rediculous.

Congratulations on getting tickets! You'll get a kick out of the new digs.
I used to have the cell phone number to a beer man who was an old hippy who just liked being a beer man. It was always fun to have beer delivered care of Quiet Tiger. Of course I had to make it worthwhile so it was normally a six pack or more. Good times.
Make sure to drop by Orange Force 1.
If you like microbrew downtown has at least a half dozen good ones.

Do they have beer men at Invesco? I'm pretty sure it's illegal in California.
(Shocker.) It would be great not to miss half a quarter on a beer run. Hell, down at Qualcom, you'll miss an entire quarter (literally) on some runs.... and you have no option, as there's no beer guy. Well, you have the option of no beer......... just kidding.

At the chefs game we were in the 5th level 40 yard line. The view was great. You can see all the action on both sides of the field. :charge: Not much of a wine/cheese crowd up there either.
