At 4-1, they have to feel pretty good about their start. They do have to play better than they did against the Redskins, who actually handled them in losing.
we are number three in this poll? BTW i like how all these experts are proclaiming the chargers the best 2-3 team ever.... Hilarious!

The guy that does Yahoo rankings has actually used reason in his description of Denver rather than some half-baked regurgitation of the media company line.

Chargers are a wee bit high. They are still getting a high respect for their win over the Pats. Other than that, they have played rather bad.
Number 3 is correct IMO. Just as the yahoo 'expert' said, all 4 of our wins are against quality opponents who will be playoff contenders.

it's kind of funny how the press finds coaches they really like.....even if they have done little to earn it. Marty gets a pass on this all day long, even though he rarely wins a playoff game. Somehow the bloom on Dom Capers rose is finally wilted......about 4 years after it should have. Parcells is another glory boy....no matter what his team does.

"What's more impressive is that all four of the Broncos' wins have come against teams that should be in playoff races down the stretch."
By any means necessary

Denver is plus-six in turnover margin.

I wouldn't say Parcells and Schottenheimer have "done little" in this League. Capers does appear to be a guy who's mainly coordinator material, though.

last week we could barely crack the top ten and was glad that we were under the radar even though we should have been ranked higher IMO (#5-6).
Now we barely beat the skins at home and now we jump all the way to #2 or #3 depending on the poll. IMO now we're ranked too high.IMO we should still be around #5 in my opinion. No way are we at an elite level yet.

I can tell you what happened...
The pundits watched us demolish KC. They caught some of the box-score of the Jag game and maybe a couple of highlights. Then, they wanted to see if Washington was legit and watched the highlight reel of that game (maybe actually some of the game), where Denver came up with the game winning play on defense.
If you read most of those ranking comments about Denver, they are rehashed poorly acquired information.
I think that we are just in the top ten right now.
