1.) Maybe white men can't jump, but some black guys aren't so swift either. I have seen Al Wilson misplay more then one ball over his head. Seems like he gets a little messed up when they're coming in high.
2.) Jake can not throw wet pigskin to save his cork and he will take a ref aside to tell him about it.
3.) Ashlie Lelie can catch the impossible wet pigskin but drop it when it's easy (Do you remember him sitting down in the soft part of the zone early in the game... wide open... and it bounced right off him?)
4.) Broncos fans don't like wet weather and will leave the game early if they're uncomfortable. (At least it looked weak from TV).

Plummer can't play in bad weather.
Bell should get 20 carries a game.

I learned that "a win is a win is a win is a win"...I recall a lot of ugly Elway games in inclimate weather...I'll take it and hope we can get one from the Pats.

Is that the play when the unpressured QB threw it at the feet of the wide-open receiver?

What I learned on Sunday was that the fans at Invesco sit on their asses and don't make any noise unless the broncos score. I was trying to get the ones around me to make so freaking noise when the skins had the ball and they just sat there looking at me like I was crazy. The 12th man at the old mile high used to be a major factor. Not at Inveso.

The guy was horrifically bad even when there was at best lackluster pressure on him.
God Shanny!!! Get a real QB!!

No, that was the play where the overrated receiver dropped a pass with no one near him and cost us a first down.

I learned we've finally got a team that can gut out a win when nothing seems to be going right. Something we haven't had in Denver in a looooooooong time!
This team ain't perfect, but we're a long way from being on par with the cellar dwellers.

I learned there are alot more tailgate parties going on around the parking lot than I thought. Infact I visited atleast 15 different groups. There are alot of great people out in Lot M. Still need to make it to lots P and R.
There is also another Broncos tailgating bus that was just unveiled. It might just become an extention of the Of1/omane tailgate. The guys that built it did a great job and want to share it with die hard Broncos fans. Some of their work was inspired by OF1. That made my day along with the Broncos win! I can't wait to see another Broncos bus pop up!
I also learned that cold rain sucks 10 times more than freezing cold temps and snow. \
I also learned that 75,000 people will make as much noise as the fans that will sit thru a game no matter what the weather is like. Basically there is a core 12th man of that stadium that will not give up on this team no matter what and they are just as loud as a full stadium.
I came to the realization that Lelie and Plummer just don't seem to click and I you can't lay blame on either one at this point. They just aren't on the same page.
I also learned that tailgating with a truck and habachi grill is something I missed.
Only negative thing I learned was that myself and the director of parking/security just can't seem to see eye to eye no matter what when it comes down to what we can or cannot park in spot #31 lot C-RV.
It also became perfectly clear that the Broncos got the better end of the portis/Champ deal by far.
I also learned that the Invesco security is very aware that some fans have been treated poorly in the past and they are making an effort to relax and let the fans be fans. I know this because I talked to alot of them.
Life is getting better in Broncos Country!

That's what I was looking for. Thanks for the inside scoop, Meck!
I think Ash and Jake will hook up and it could have been in the 'skins game. Ash dropped a pass or two and Jake just could not heave that deep ball this week. Much worse then usual. I have a sneaking suspicion that it will come. we had the deep ball open 3 or 4 times that I can recall and just couldn't deliver a catchable payload.

That's great to hear. I couldn't see this game, but I the cameras were shaking on MNF.
The 12th man matters.

Go Broncos!
I learned I should have been making a tailgate stop at the beginning of the game for the last 10 years.
I learned that Meck77, Disco, TJ, (I am missing others, sorry) go out of their way to make newbies feel welcome - THANKS!
I learned that 40,000 die-hards almost make as much noise as 40,000 die-hards and 30,000 nots.
I learned that it might be time to give Bell the lead role.
I learned our passing game struggles in inclement weather.
I learned that we need Champ back in the lineup.
2nd most importantly I learned that the Broncos can win ugly against a pretty darn good team, playing pretty well.
Most importantly, I learned that my 10 yr old daughter is an amazing Bronco trooper (we were SCREAMING through the majority of the game and we only hit the concourse for potty and food - and it SUCKED out in the rain). Must be in the genes!!!
2 and 1 in the next 3 and we are THERE! Go Broncs!
I learned that 4 Denver D linemen can't hurry the QB when protected by eight team mates.

i was at the game and i agree with eveything...esp. #4. i stayed until the bitter end, but everyone else seemed to leave with about 10-12 minutes left. lelies drop was killer...until bell went 34 for the TD. be happy though, we won. and on al's play, he just umped too early.

I learned that even shivering fans love their team. As empty as it was, the place rocked when the Redskins were threatening to tie the game. Of course, I looked down and saw Meck and Disco leading the noisemakers...

I learned that the media praises the Skins for almost winning but doesnt praise the broncs for winning. I guess the Seahawks are the best team in the league cause they lose close games.
