Saints | McAllister Likely Out for the Year
Mon, 10 Oct 2005 09:50:40 -0700

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports New Orleans Saints RB Deuce McAllister (knee) had an initial test on his injured knee, which showed a torn ACL. He will have a second opinion before deciding definitely on the season-ending surgery. All indications are that the Saints will have to continue without him for the remainder of the year.

Ed Hartwell is also done for the season.

Yeah Nappy put this in the other thread. Sucked then, still sux. Good thing Antwain Smith is a reliable back up.

Apparently McAllister is out for the year with a torn ACL per John Clayton of ESPN.

And the word out of NE is that Cory Dillon has an injury, but per their usual procedures, the word is mum at this point.

Sucks about them being injured, but honestly I think our chances just got a bit better next week.

New England rallies the troops like no team I have ever seen. I was hoping they would come in here riding high (after a win). I don't like the fact that they'll get the "us against the world" card again.

Honestly Dillon hasnt been running that well this year healthy. Him being out and Faulk taking over may be a good thing for them. Who knows.

Sucks that these 2 teams have injuries, but god thing both have decent bacups infor replacement.

I saw a little - darn little - of their game yesterday. I think Dillon pulled his ego muscle, and he may need surgery. Dude was some frustrated.

Dillon has been running fine....it has been offensive line problems that have hurt the Patriots rushing attack. Dillon finally broke 100 against the Falcons, but went out with a leg injury and never returned.

Faulk is OUT for several more weeks as well in all probability.

If Dillon does not play, the main running back you will probably see is Patrick Pass.

Well, here is a token fantasy football question. Now that Deuce is out and I need a RB, who would you take between L Johnson(Diaperboy), TJ Duckett, or Chris Henry?

"Try to read" is what it should say above every one of your posts. Please disappear again until Denver wins next week.
