"That's not mositure on the camera lens . . . that's the fog on field level."
And countless others . . . what a piece of work this Maas is!

I was thinking the same thing when he was talking about the "fog". Funny thing was there was no fog from the other camera angles. What a tool.

I know there are alot of bad announcers , but this guy takes the cake. He was pathetic. I muted most the 2nd half because I couldnt stomach listening to the fool.

That guy is frigging horrible. Jesus Christ he had one stupid statement after another. This is the guy that got fired by the KC Star because he took a Woody Paige article and put his name on it and turned it in as his own. The guy is a complete tool.

Moron - I still hold Theezman is the lowest regard, but the old squaw tried to take the crown today.

Probably because of a muffed exchange on the opening drive. ???

Shack and I watched probably 90% of the game on mute.
He makes Madden look intelligent.

yea the guy did suck. early in the game he was talking about field goals and he made the comment about how elam made the record tying field goal in DENVER not jacksonville, then "the drive" in DENVER not clevland. c'om on 1 mistake is ok but my god!

I watch his crap every week. He seems to call most of the Skins game. Did he play for the Skins or something? His commentary is so bias toward the Skins. It's hilarious!

There were critical points in the game where Maas was babbling on some nonsensical tanjent while the other guy was trying to focus on what was actually happening on the field.
Kinda like the monday night game when Madden was going on and on about some other frigging girley show like Desperate Housewives or some other sh*t while and interception is being run back for a touchdown.
Sometimes I wonder if the color guys even watch the game. Completely worthless...
At least Theismann usually sticks to talking football.

I guess I'm in the Minority I actually like the ESPN crew. I like Paul McGuire too. I think they work well together.

Actually, I can think of a bigger idiot. I forgot his name though. He was the guy doing color on the Viking game last year when Moss feigned mooning the Pack fans.
That guy acted like he was horrified, and felt all dirty for having witnessed the event, like he needed to go to church to cleanse his virgin eyes with some holier than thou water.
Was his name Buck?

Joe Buck is a tool, but I'd rank Maas right up there. Didn't he say something about Champ playing for the Skins too one time today, then the other announcer corrected him? There were so many screw ups, I lost count.

Bill Mass used to play for the K.C. CHUMPS,and he is an IDIOT! Back in '97 I worked at a restaurant here in K.C. and he would come in and eat and i would be wearing my Broncos jersey(It was a dive pizza joint and they would let you wear whatever you wanted to work) and he was trying to tell me what a joke the Broncos were and how great the K.C. CHUMPS were! After the Broncos beat the CHUMPS at Narrowhead Stadium in the playoffs he mysteriously stopped coming in....LOL!

Maas actually was praising us quite a bit. He wasnt sharp as a commentator but I did appreciate him sucking the team off on several occasions.
The old sunday night crew of Theezman, Maguire and Patrick are the absolute worst. Damn Patrick called Kenoy "Keion Carpenter" and they were going off on how great Manning was at the same time he was throwing picks and we were taking him apart during the 03 reg season game. We were making plays on D left and right and they were talking about how great Manning was in the abstract for like 2 or 3 minutes straight without even pausing to acknowledge our plays or even the play on the field during that span.

All i gotta say is at least you got to watch the game. Apprently fox needs a geography lesson as I had to watch the waste of time that was the Philly/Dallas game. Neither of which is closer to fargo than Denver.

I feel your pain, missing.
But if you are truly "on the plains of North Dakota...", then you should get DirecTV! They have a phenomenal offer to new subscribers (and no, I don't work for them . . . but I live in Seattle, and NEVER MISS a single Bronco play because of DirecTV).
Here's the deal: If you buy NFL Sunday Ticket - $60 a month for 4 months - they give you DirecTV and all the premium channels FREE for all 4 months! That's HBO, Showtime, etc... When the 4 months is up, you can pay $40 a month (but no premiums). That's actually $6 less than the cable here - which is Comcast, $45.95 per month minimum. So if you're paying for cable TV now, you really have no excuse.

Sure, sure, he was praising us a lot . . . fine. Fine.
But Bill Maas actually said: "remember John Elway led 'the Drive' against the Cleveland Browns on this very field."
You could not MAKE UP a more foolish comment! You couldn't do it!
It is so very wrong and so very foolish on so very many levels - - that it boggles the mind!
