Rhonde Barber Knocks the Referee The **** Out

Rhonde Barber just cold clocked the referee as he was trying to hit Kevin Mawae of the New York Jets but missed. The ref was out for a good two to three minutes. But the kicker is, he stayed in the game and he only got a 15 yard penalty!

Remember when Rod Smith inadvertently hit the referee in the Monday Night Contest - I think last year - and got kicked out of the game? Same situation, and Rod's hit was less violent than Rhonde's, and two different outcomes.

I've always liked Ronde Barber and now I like him even more. Can he punch Mike Carey next?

yea i rember that monday night game, it wasn't last year but the year before becuase it was against the faiders and you can tell by the uniform, they wore the blue pants (which we wore the first year we had jake) not white

And the Eagles lost I believe it was Trotter the first game this season, for supposedly taking a swing at a Falcon before the game even started....and he never even threw a punch, much less actually landing one on a ref. Talk about inconsistency...
