Denver

MLB- Al Wilson 22 tackles 1 sack
LOL- Ian Gold 18 tackles 1 sack
ROL- D.J Williams 10 tackles 0 sacks

Kansas City

MLB- Kawika Mitchell 24 tackles 1 sack
LOL- Derrick Johnson 31 tackles 1 sack
ROL- Kendrell Bell 10 tackles 0 sacks

the Chiefs LB's have actually done more than Denvers LB's, and D.J Williams hasnt done anymore than Kendrell Bell, so does he suck?

They do? Please explain cause I just don't see it. IMO, Bell is just a product of a great defense that was great despite him.

I'll give them DJ though. That kid is very good.

well, i dont know about that FACT but if there is one thing that is FACT is they didnt do jack **** to stop our offense. again, numbers mean very little to me as the most important stat is the ' W ' and the fact that the high powered Chiefs offense was held to 3 points. im not counting the gimme TD at the end that Walls gave to you guys. our defense absolutely OWNED you.

Maybe the only reason our LB's have more tackles is because our DL s**ks. It's hard to top the LB's Denver has....... In time I see KC's getting better, but to think it's better than Denvers is well wishing.

I've never been to any of those boards, but I have a hard time believing that doing so would be more masochistic or self-destructive than rooting for the Chiefs.

Zach Thomas had 14 tackles one time in a loss and said it was the worst he had ever played.

Sheer tackle numbers are totally irrelevant if your tackling 6 yards off the LOS and are on the field all day. That's football 101. The lower your tackle numbers, the more it means your getting off the field.

You don't think Jacksonville had alot of tackles last week when we had the ball 2/1 in time of possesion?

Denver had 30 tackles...all solo...which is astounding

Jax had 67 tackles...10 assisted...

What the stats didnt say is that KC's D is on the field a lot more often than Denver's D and thus has to make more tackles and the stats dont show all the potential tackles Kc's LB whiffed as Mike Anderson/ Tatum Bell shredded them for big gains.

He did say that KCs Defense has only had 12 more plays on the field than Denver. But I'm not the one that needs convincing. The guy that is posting this has totally lost it. I responded to him with this.

"Allow me to show something to the idiot formally known as NCarls. Take a look at these stats and you tell me which team has the better defense as a whole and individually.

Team A

67 tackles 3 sacks 57 solo tackles 0 turnovers

Team B
26 tackles 2 sacks 26 solo tackles 4 turnovers


Now going by your logic with stats, Team A has the better individual players since they have more tackles. Now you answer my question then I'll tell you the outcome of the game."

I haven't heard back from him in over an hour where before he was very active in trying to prove his point.

I dident think tackles were even an official stat...Who cares who has so many tackles you wann know whos LBs are better...who has the better D thats whos LBs are better!

Well you have to remember that is how LBers will probably be picked for the pro-bowl, by how many tackles they have(and name). Pretty ****ty I know.

Maybe your team has more tackles is because your crappy defense stays on the field. They are like..."Hey, I let them convert this third down, I can get three more tackles. Woot".

Maybe if your piece of sh!t team could get off on third down, they wouldn't be on the field making the tackles your DE's and DT's should be.

Of course they have done more when your on the field the whole game you can have good stats and never stop a team from scoring once.

Let's compare the defenses 3rd down efficiency and let's compare TOP for the offenses. Afterall if Denver has a 32 TOP and the Chefs have a 29 TOP that means the Chefs D has has an extra 3 minutes a game to pad their stats such as tackles and sacks...ect...

The only LB on the Chefs squad that is worth a shiat (and I've said if from the beginning) is Derrick Johnson. I was 9 kinds of pissed when I saw the Queefs draft D.J. Other than him though......NOTHING!

You ? So is all of ChiefsNation. If Mitchell turns out to do something and Bell gets into the 4-3 scheme a little better, we will have a solid group. At times Mitchell shows increditable potential, next time he s*cks....... Bell is just lost right now in the scheme, and DJ is new, he has alot to learn.

But it is an improvement over last year.

Me and Crazyhorse had a debate over G Rob and Gunther , I said Gunther is a D cord that Schemes line backers more where as GRob uses safties more ....
hellva switch between Grob and Gunther , but KC Linebackers are comming more to light ..... ;D
