obviously it looks amazing, though one thing i noticed was that on the second to last row far right photo it shows the same problem that the games have always had before, and thats players "melting" into one another.

These "attention to detail" posts are getting a bit ignorant, so I will address a couple.

1. Oakland doesn't have the baseball field year round unless I am mistaken. If you play an early season game in Oakland, it shows up. Later in the year it is gone.

2. Yes, it is true Oakland never has a full stadium. EA does a great job in showing this, but only if you have the stadium detail setting at it's highest level. At it's highest level, it will show a partially empty stadium depending on the team, record and importance of the game. If the detail level is set to anything lower, by default the stadium is full.

As for Langston Walker...it's a beta, folks.

It looks like EA doing yet another crap job to me. From a student who majors in both illustration and kinetic imagery (animation), this game looks disappointing. I hope you are right, Bob. It better be in its beta stages.

Tecmo Bowl kicks ass. I had them on my old PC with a NES/SNES emulator (battery died in my original SNES cart-not pirating), got to go get them again.

Pretty damn sure, Aside from that I once got stung by a bee at the half time of a game on my thumb. The thing got swollen and looked weird and ridiculous. Ended up playing the second half. The other team was pretty confused a little grossed out I think.

Nah, I really miss playing the game. I was a decent player on a great team. Kind of undersized but had good technique and good game sense.

Ok I just watched the video and could not be more disappointed. The annimations and graphics are amazing - until the plays actually start. Then its just more of the same. They still run weird. All the players tackle the same. All the players block the same and they move the same. NFL 2K5 was so real looking because they used real motion capture to get some realistic looking game play.

For some reason, either EA hates MoCap and likes their crappy annimations which consequently look like cartoons, or they're motion capture they use blows. If this is Beta, than all bets are off for this game having anything substantively better than the previous Maddens. But then again, that's what Madden is: Recycling the same game year in and year out with different whistles and bells. Yours now for $69.99. :flush:
