Thanks for the compliments! I agree that Washington doesn't seem as good as our last 4 opponents. I could see why you would say this after we made the Chargers, Chiefs, and Jaguars look like high school teams. However, I knew the Skins were underrrated going into this season. I'm not surprised that they are 3-0. It will be too close by the Broncos standards.

Yep, My bid is only like 190 miles a night + 3 or 4 on the patio but my seniority allows me to take "Kick Outs" to bump me up to anywhere from 4-500 miles a night if I want it but the beauty of it is that they have to offer me the runs first because of my seniority but I don't have to take them and can send them to one of the 6 drivers below me on the board.

When I want to run, I run hard all week but when I get tired of riding I can just kick back and relax a bit.

So usually tues wed and thurs I will run, Monday is a no no for me because of the sleep thing and friday night for obvious reasons.

Can you imagine how set the redskins would be on offense if Brunell was 10 years younger? My friend and I were having that discussion and he is an ardent anti-Brunellite. But that guy could do it all in his younger days.

That said, Brunell still has game. Brunell-Moss and Brunell-Portis (handoffs) will keep us in the game on offense. The defense, well, they can handle themselves.

That's why Washington has a good chance. Especially if Shanahan takes us for granted as he so often does against "overrated" teams. That said, I can see why the Broncos are a favorite. But every team matches up differently in the NFL so you never kno how it'll turn out.

I'm just excited to see us play a different team to get an idea of where we are in the league. (And of course to see ST21 knock Lelie on his butt)

Hell, against Philadelphia I saw his kick go one way while, at the same time his gut knocked over a ref, a coach & two cheerleaders on the sideline.

A try-out at NT is always a possibility, but then, so is a future as a professional door-stop.

Bob Buczkowski was an unheralded defensive end out of Pittsburgh. The Raiders reached badly for him in the first round of the 1986 draft. Keep in mind, this was back when the Raiders were still an excellent team. A young DE to plug into rotation with Howie Long and Greg Townsend would have been a good acquisition. Happily, my buddies and I soon dubbed him Bob "Bad Back"owski, as injuries and overall suckiness ended his career before it began.

The Raiders tanked a lot of first rounders in the mid 80s and it really held back their franchise. First visible signs that Al was losing it. Bucskowski came in the middle of a three year first round skid, flanked by Jesse Hester in 1985 and John "Feet of" Clay in 1987.

Went on a business trip to Hill AFB in Ogden Utah and one of the mechanics there is a cowboy who is probably one of the funniest guys I've ever meet.

Well the group of us went out to eat and he got drunk, and then he took his daughters pink ballerina outfit and put what he could on and started dancing around the place.

I took a picture, had it enlarged and printed it at Kinko's, and then put it on the wall where they work. He caught hell for that for weeks.

Next time we went out there we had to stay late one night at work...went out and our rental car had all the tires taken off. I have a vague idea who might have done it.
