Guys i am a huge Denver Broncos Fan, ive registered today just so i can say this; we must be humble and not boast about our players teams or coaches. Nor should we make such bold prediction about the future because in the End only GOD knows all. Today the host of an early morning radio show, said there is no way in the world that the broncos can loose. and what that does is it limits the power of the Lord. Remember titantic when they said the ship would never sink, well it did. I know this may sound random, but we need to stay humble to our team, and to others. Lets not develope a bad reputation of milking other people. I am very worried about this upcoming game verse the redskins, because the words of the ignorant have already been spoken much more than other games. So when ever we compliment someones attributes let make sure we praise the LORD because he is the ALL GIVER. And one more thing, lets pray that the Lord is with the orange and blue this week and evey week!

I'm a religious man (Christian...thank you) and I honestly don't pray for a certain outcome in a game. I think there's more important things to pray for and be thankful for. I can see a player or team praying for good health. Honestly, if you're praying for a certain outcome you probably have way too much money riding on the game! Seek help bud!
The only thing that concerns me with the comments is the bad karma it brings.
So to even the karma I'll say the Broncos are going to have a very tough game and will have to fight their collective asses off in order to win.

There is nothing wrong with praying for an outcome. Are there more important issues in life...ofcourse. But a prayer doesn't have to be limited to just football.
I personally do agree with you with the bad karma. All teams in the NFL can beat any team on any given sunday. We need to quite down on the smack and let our players prove it on the field.

Well I do think that Karma can bite people. Remember the Cincy game lst year? Everyone was talking about how many points we were going to put up. There might be nothing to it, but it seems the fan base was quite a bit more humble about the Jags game and the Broncos showed up. I could see this Redskin game as a trap game and while it might seem like there isn't anything to it, anytime we predict a total blowout, our team chokes (Dolphins, Bengals, Bears). I know a lot of it is coincidence, but being humble never hurt anybody.

Well they've always been closely related. You see athletes pray all the time. Certainly the person should be credited for working hard, but some (myself) would argue that God gave that athlete the tools to make him/herself into something great.

Think about it. There are 32 teams in the NFL. All 32 teams have someone praying for them to win. Chronic gamblers are the first people that come to mind. However, only 1 team can win the Super Bowl. And, for every 14-2 team, there is usually 1 2-14 team.
Also - if humility was a prerequisite for team victories, then the Pats and Sox wouldn't have won bumkiss last year. I work with a bunch of Boston boys at work. And they are as far from humble as sh!t is from tasty.
Humility is a good character trait, peroid. Not just in football. However, I can hardly get fired up and say "be humble for your football team and not be humble in every aspect of your life." You either are, or you are not humble. Period. Its as hard for a whore to be virtious in a church for 3 hours as it is for a braggart to be humble about his team for 3 hours.
Besides, I think this is a publicity stunt on your part. And if it was, it worked. You got everyone's attention.

loborugger,
Your avatar is very tacky in light of the guy trying to make it into the OU football game last week and blow it up. Turns out, the security guards turned him away when he wouldn't let them search his bag. He then went to a bench to strap the bomb on him and BOOM...detonated prematurely...

Think about it. There are 32 teams in the NFL. All 32 teams have someone praying for them to win. Chronic gamblers are the first people that come to mind. However, only 1 team can win the Super Bowl. And, for every 14-2 team, there is usually 1 2-14 team.
That's easy to explain, God hates the Raiders.

Think about it, lets say at your work you are a lawyer, and if you win you next case you will get million dollar bonus. Dont you think you will be praying to win the case. It could go the same with the players on the broncos teams, and for the fans.
So wait, does that mean the team whose fans pray the most wins???
All kidding aside, I think the whole "free will" thing means that God would never step in and interfere with something like a bomb killing millions of people let alone a football game.

Mohammed (Peace be upon him) Jesus (Peace be upon him) Moses (peace be upon him) and many other prophet, were very humble and they tought to be humble, so please fokebe humble, for God, Allah, is with the humble ones.

You just need to use a bigger bible. Try cold cocking them with an unabridged dictionary first just to soften them up.
I have a bible challenge for any bible student who thinks he's ready. First read Proverbs 9:1 -12 and then PM me.

That is supposed to be spiritual. Do you think they don't have the same urges Americans do. Nope? It's just different rules for getting there. I guess rules are what make us and also what seperates us.
From Abraham came Muslims, Jews, and Christians. You'd think we would want to make him proud instead of fighting over being distinct.

Im from Virginia as well, nothern virginia in Fairfax, but any way the Muslim Women cover up because it takes away temptation from the man. This way the man doesnt get bad thoughts and it keep the women safe. And this is how most people usually dressed before america became really developed. They usually wore long sleeves and long skirts, but modernization has change the norm. But the Muslim religion is very much about kindness, generosity, humbleness. If you guys ever do plan on searching for a religion if you have not found one yet, you should read some of the Prohpet Mohammeds Teachings your heart will become very humble and very consious of others.

No joke! I'm sorry. If you ain't getting any a man develops X ray eyes. If you are getting it all the time all you think about is how to get into that. If you are feminist you are wondering why do these women honor traditions which includes oftentimes rape, abandonment, and sodomy. These women are serious about this stuff and making fun of this tradtion is bad ju ju.
All religious traditions start out with the right intent but sooner or later a people get involved and even our best traditions are just symbolism of a time gone by.

That's cool, I guess. I know that sometimes, I like trying to guess what a Muslim lady's boobs look like under her tunic.
