Agreed, I've never been so excited by a secondary.

Foxworth & Chris Myers were the only two guys I thought fit their draft status.

...not sure about Paymah or Myers in the short term, but Darrent Williams & Foxworth sure do lift this draft far above anything I imagined at the time.

Foxworth did a great job today, and Williams has just been electric.

I know coaches are pleased...make that very pleased...they were able to return Chris Myers to the team, so assuming we get 3 major contributors out of 6 picks...and I'm not counting out Paymah, just not counting on Paymah right now...this was a great draft for Denver.

The rook stepped right in and played lights-out... He and Darrent are going to be fierce... and Lenny just moved down a slot on the depth chart

Paymah should be forgiven for his mishap with Jimmy Smith who might wind up in Canton some day. That's a tough first assignment for a rookie and he was just a split nanosecond from deflecting the pass.

When you win in this league on the road, against a good team, and by a sizeable margin

I tend to believe all is forgiven...laughed about even

I still laugh at DW being a great corner. Not that its funny, but at the time of the draft I thought and many here thought DW was a ST guy, but turns out the guy is lights out everywhere! Not that shanny didnt know his CB skills, just turns out we got even more than we bargained for.

And ive been on the Fox bandwagon ever since i heard an interview with him awhile back. I thought, boy this kid is smart, he took school serious for sure, but now that ive seen him through pre season and the reg season im even more pumped about his on field play.

DW, Fox and Paymah are all going to excel. Paymah may have been a little more raw than the other two, but will likely catch up by seasons end. Each guy will bring his unique talents and Paymah will likely develop into the nickel or dime guy we put on the bigger WR and faster TE when the match ups call for it; when our opponents have two or three good receivers.

Fox is so bright and talented and all three rookie DBs are getting a first class education at "Champ U". They all died and went to heaven when we drafted them!

Here is what's really exciting about the three rookie CB's...you add them in with Champ and give them some playing time and by the end of the year they're not rookies anymore...just in time for a rematch with the Dolts...I like our chances against them a LOT more with this group than I did with the bunch we had last year...Champ/DWill/Fox/Paymah...that's 4 CB's with 4.3 speed to go with a real pass rush...I'm betting Paymah will get some moments to shine also, especially if Walls continues to stink it up like he has...Karl would move into the dime spot.

Don't forget we get Browner coming in next year at safety.
