I have a second interview this Tues Oct 4th for my "DREAM" job: Assistant Division Clerk for Arapahoe County (DENVER COLORADO) and was wondering if anyone could possibly get a few "insider" questions answered for me. As you may have heard it is very difficult to get these types of positions if you don't have the right "connections."
1. How is the second interview conducted - is it another panel interview?
2. What do they expect from the typing test?
3. What are the chances of getting hired on if you are called back for a second interview?
4. What is the process after the second interview?
5. What type of questions do they ask?
If anyone can help with this I will be eternally grateful!!

That just means your in the cutdown. Expect the job. Tell them you expect the job. Then give the reasons.
2. What do they expect from the typing test?
They want to make sure you don't have rudimenary English and have a Green Card? Why wouldn't they. It's called CLERK for a reason. if you can't figure out question two your not going to get the job. You might want to work on your typing.
3. What are the chances of getting hired on if you are called back for a second interview?
Better than the first interview. Something will have to stand out. Act like you are a Type A personality.
4. What is the process after the second interview?
It's totally discresionary...the boss may want to looks at a bimbo or a geek...or look at who is qualified...IT'S A QUESTION TO ASK THEM HONESTLY. See, you start asking the questions. Ask THEM WHAT THEY EXPECT then say you can handle that easily. Listen carefully...when an interviewer hears questions regarding what your responsibilities would be, he had to explain them then you have the opportunity to tell them that your totally qualified for that.
5. What type of questions do they ask?
Depends on the moron. Usually they just go by resume. If your resume isn't up to snuff, or it's padded to the point of absurdity, you just act confident. Never forget, all that can happen is you won't get the job. You don't tell them you are just shopping like some MIT graduate, but you have to give them an idea that your competent...thats the total. total key...that's what I looked for...bright eyes and competence. And Big Boobs.
If anyone can help with this I will be eternally grateful!!
If you find some big boobed women needing work, PM me. That would be thanks enough.
