Just get it up to 28-3 and I will feel more comfortable that USC will not be able to fraud it out in the 2nd half as they usually do.

I'm still worried, ala the Stanford game last year.

The Cardinal got up 28-3 but USC had a quick score right before halftime, and took over the game in the 2nd half, I have images of that game in my head still when looking at this one.

BTW, I can tell you with full confidence now that if it was OSU vs. USC, I wouldnt hesitate at all to root for OSU. I was wavering earlier on but my hatred for U$C is on a whole new plane now.

My boys are kickin' some ass right now, and they really didn't get in an offensive groove until midway through the second quarter. I still won't relax even if we're up 18 w/ 5 minutes left. I expect SC to come out on fire, and we'll have to put up another 21 or so to hold on. The good thing is, we're capable. My years as an ASU fan have taught me to expect the worst, unfortunately, but I'm still hoping we can hang on. (As I'm sure most of the country is)

Anyone have thoughts on Keller's pro prospects when he comes out in 2007?

For those who can't see the game, USC had 8 penalties in the first quarter, and are 2 for 10 on 3rd down, 0 for 2 on 4th. ASU's smacked the golden boy in the mouth a few times, and so far he's had a rough day. We got a late hit penalty when we knocked Leinart woozy, but it may have been worth it. ASU's D has played over it's head so far, and SC has been out of sync. That won't last, but as they said on ESPN at halftime, ASU has punched the bully in the mouth. They will respond strongly, and at least if it turns into a shootout we have a head start. My nerves can't take this.

Ok, I get it now, How much of a fan you are is equated to the amount of posts you make on the college board of a NFL team board of which you are a DIE-HARD fan of.

I started following USC, mostly because of Pete Carroll, Norm Chow, and I was Pulling for Carson Palmer when he wasn't doing so well. But I thought Carson had great Potential and was really pulling for him, and then we all know what happened in the second half of his senior year.

The game wasn't on where I am at. It was either Florida or FSU...

But how much of a fan a person is, is certainly related to things like sticking with your team during their tough times and continuing to support that team (See CU) and not bandwagon on the best teams in America just because things are starting to go sour. Yes, I recognize that there are many things that you are angry about and some things that you just cant support but that doesnt mean deserting the actual football team. You are a CU fan. Support CU. You have no connection whatsoever with USC outside of bandwagoning. USC is not your team. USC is crap. You are a CU fan. This is what I cannot stand. You can be upset at the UNIVERSITY and the leadership of the university, not the football team. You stick with your team, thats how you show you love them. Thats how you show your a fan. You think I enjoyed seeing SI say we should shut our program down. Did you think I enjoyed mediocrity for 5 years and losing by 53 points to Syracuse and having a 5-6 season?

So, you can put me Square in the middle of the 2nd category.

I like College football, but I have no where NEAR the unbridled PASSION that I do have for the NFL!!!

And I'm ok with it. ;D

I still dont get it, if you're jsut a casual fan who likes the flavor of the month in college football, why do all the gloating about this USC team?

I'm a casual fan of tennessee, and I dont go around pimping that team all around, I only show off my one and only team, the Ohio State Buckeyes.
