Everyone except Collinsworth picked the Jags. They said it will be HOT in Jacksonville and thats why the Broncos will lose. They dont have the picks up on the website but thats what i saw just now.

That's reasonable. Historically Florida hasn't been kind to the Broncos and the Jags have a solid squad all around. It's gonna be a tough one.

I just wonder how healthy Leftwich will be, if our d-line gives him the same treatment as Green got then he is in for some hurt...

If the Broncos win this game, that's what's going to have to happen first and foremost. I'm not too awful worried about the running game, but with the possibility of Champ being sidelined, they have to get pressure on Leftwich with the front four or it's gonna be a long day.

and even with 2 tackles being injured on KC against us, that line is still better than the Jagwads line

I'm thinking we lose. We seem to play poorly after blowout wins (vis-a-vis Oakland last year) We lose in Florida almost every time, as well. We have the advantage of them having a crapier O-line, but I see something similar to last year like Broncos 10 Jags 13 or something. If somehow we pull this off, I will go nuts and officially be on the 12-4 bandwagon.

I think we will lose a close one
probably be a defensive struggle and people will be calling for Plummer's head

In spite of the pick, Collinsworth is still a major league dicknose.
I'll say Denver by 10....I fear no Jags nor Florida heat.

This week's game has let down written all over it. Back to Florida (when was the last time we won there, other than the Super Bowl), and on a short week.
I'd say the Broncos are a better team than the Jags. But the Jags are decent. This will be a very tough game. I think this is a character game. If they can go down there after a huge game, and a short week, and get a win, I'd say this team is for real. I'd say that turd they laid in week one would be behind them. The best teams win those trap games. The Broncos have been one of the better teams over the past couple years, but they haven't been one of the best teams. They haven't been one of the best teams because they tend to lose games like the one coming up next week. A win here will take this team a very long way.

I'm not buying into this can't win in FLA jazz after MNF and the supposed rough time the team was going to have because it was MNF or a night game in general, etc. etc. etc.
Pure homer mode hangover after that great MNF game maybe.....but I'm gonna shine it on for as long as possible......no one watching that game could come away from it and not be a believer.

I will play the Monkey's song "I'm a Believer" by the Monkeys when we win a game in Florida. I think we can kick their ass, but it's hard to say down there.
We never play well in Florida, but it doesn't mean we can't win.

That defense did a number on Peyton Manning though. And they are at home. I think it'll be very close.

Absolutely. This is one those games that teams like the Pats find a way to win. It's about mental toughness. A win here would be HUGE! And, I think you'll be able to see if they are flat or ready to play in the first five minutes.

It will be warm but nothing like the 120 it was in Miami
Oct 2 Sunday
Scattered thunderstorms possible. Highs in the mid 80s and lows in the mid 70s.

She is without a doubt one of the hottest ones I've seen on the Mane.
True story, yesterday I stopped by my local dollar store to grab some **** and there was a chick 'bout that hot (bigger rack but a brunette, not a blonde). My first thought was "damn, even gravity looses to amazing tits?" Second though "Why in hell does she work at this dirt ass dollar store?"
Was going to pick up on her but 1. I was high 2. my stuff rang up at 4.20 so I damn near busted a gut laughing right there, and 3. my girlfriend would kill me.

jags have to be considered the faves. our boys wilt like pansies in the florida sun and j-ville's defense is #2 in the league. so i guess we can consider a win 'shocking the world'...

That or she's waiting for somebody from Jax to come by and sweep her off her feet to his trailer with the propane and septic tanks.
Back to the thread (are you guys still high? (-:) I don't see why the broncs should be flat. This was one of three games last year that they should have won, and two of them would have given us the Payaton Pussies at Invesco. They'd better not be flat, and shanny and rod and Jake and Wilson better be hammering that into everybody's skulls all week long.
My guess is that Champ will try to play. But, I don't think Jax oline (unless they get healthy fast) can run on denver's front 4. That is, I think they should hold Fred's replacements to 75 with only 7 in the box, and maybe 6. Play a two deep and shoot Lynch once in awhile.
And, again, if Jake can make plays from the 5 step in the two TE set, Den can handle their oline. One of the DTs is banged up too.

WAG: our O is too inconsistent. our D plays hard for first half. mental toughness factor kicks in and we deflate.
on the other hand: we ride the KC emotional high into Jagwadworld, pounce on them quick and then its off to the races.
short week; all banged up. high humidity. it is grass there, right?
