I'm giving Lelie and Kevin Jones for Ricky Williams and Derrick Mason. There is no way of telling if Ricky will do anything this year. As is he is spiting carries with Brown and I doubt he is in any kind of shape. To me Lelie for Williams seems fair. Jones for Mason seems fair to me as well. Hell people are offering me Bradon Llyod and Coles for him and they think thats fair. Coles would be ok but I hate noodle arm and now they are down to a 100 year old QB. Anyways why is this getting rejected? Do they really think that Williams is going to bust out or what?

why? Explain that too me. Lelie is about worthless Jones has done nothing and sits on may bench. Should I start him over McCalister or McGahee? I think not. Mason is a pretty good WR or do people forget that. Jones has score 10 points...wow I'm shocked at how great he is. Mason has 21 points. I don't care if the Ravens have no QB he is the only person they have besides Heap to go to in the passing game. Look at Mason's career the guy is solid as they come. Lelie for Williams is a wash in my eyes. I have one WR I can count on thats it the rest are trash. I would love to have Mason over any of them period.

I don't know how you could look at Lelie and Williams as a wash. Has Ricky even been activated in a game yet this year?
Yeah, Mason/ Jones seems even enough. I can see how you think Mason is an upgrade, he is, but to get rid of Lelie for Williams...yikes.

What has Lelie done this year to even make him worth a roster spot? Williams gets to play after this week, I also think that Williams will out score Lelie for the year. Lelie right now has 95 yards through three games. That leaves him on pace for 507 yards! Pretty sure Ricky could do that.

If anything Lelie and Mason are a wash and then you are getting rapped by giving up K Jones for Ricky Williams who will be stuck at RBBC at the very best when he comes back in week 5.
You should get a decent #3 RB (F Taylor, W Dunn, type player) and a #1/#2 WR (Driver, R Williams, maybe R Wayne) for that combination.

Hang on to Kevin Jones!!! He has a tough couple games coming up...then the road gets easier. By fantasy playoffs he'll give you good matchups and you'll think long and hard about starting either McGahee or McAllister over him! I've noticed myself that right now he is at a very low point in terms of trade value. Just keep trying to trade him for a higher player...then people will talk bad about him and the karma will take over. He'll be a stud!!! Ha!

You have to be drunk to give up a Talyor or Dunn for Lelie. I don't care if offer Jones with him, no way would you get Taylor and Wayne or any of the combo you had there. You must have higher hopes for Lelie then I do at this point, because from what I have been seeing Plummer and Lelie are not anywhere near the same page. Besides look a Ricky's past numbers, while Brown may cut into them somewhat Ricky still could end up with 700 plus yards which is good enough for a fill in back come bye weeks.

Okay dude, whatever your team. The top WR is worth probably 3/4 of what the top RB is. And it goes down the list. 20th WR is worth 3/4 of the what the 20th RB is. RB's are fantasy gold, WR's are cheaper because there are more of them.
You wouldn't be giving up Taylor or Dunn for Lelie.
You would be giving up Taylor or Dunn for K Jones.
How many times have you played fantasy football?

Lots. You are playing on last years stats. Break this down. Pretty easy to do.
Reggie Wayne had 12 tds and 1200 yards last year. Do you think people drafted him expecting that? Now think about this. Wayne now has to catch a td pass in each of his remaining games to equal that. He now is 400 yards off that 1200 yard pace. Stop even more to think that Manning is not having a once in every blue moon year as well. Not only is Mannings numbers down but Harrison's along with Stokley's. The Colts Oline isn't working the same either making Waynes numbers down. Here is something else to factor in 04 James had 334 carries for 1500 yards. As of now he is on pace for 411 carries. Thats a increase of 77. Odds are thats not going to continue because James has never carried more then 390 in a year, BUT he could carry between 370 and 380 which is still 40 to 50 more times.
Now back to my point about the laws of Avg. The odds that Wayne matches last year are very very slim because of the year Manning had last year was a once in a lifetime thing. Wayne however is on pace or should reach his his 03 pace of 800 yards and 7 tds, guess what thats less then Mason.
As far as RB's being gold, I agree and I don't agree. There are RBs that won't match Holt, Moss or Owens. TDs are the same for both RBs and WRs right? Yards are worth the same and so on and so on. Holt gets anywhere between 1300 yards and 1600 yards. He is a guy that can get more then 10 tds in a year as well. He is well above that avg this year, thats what most look for. Guys that get there avg year in and year out. Mason is the same type just not as many yards. He gets 1000 yards year in and year out. He gets between 7 and 9 tds a year as well. He isn't someone that you put in there and say well I hope he has a good week, unlike Lelie where one week he could have 1 catch and the next he could have 6. Not something you want to build a team on. When I build my team I want to know that I count people to score me points not sit there and have to pray that they do.
As for Williams he at one point was a top 5 back not two years ago. Hell he was even drafted in the first round in early mocks last year. He isn't coming off a injury either. I believe when push comes to shove the Phins will use Ricky more come time for FF teams to make there late season push. Making him better then Lelie, the guy I feel I'm giving up for him.
One more thing. Not trying to be a dick here but you wanted me to trade one of my top WR's (Holt and Moss) for Micheal Bennett and you are asking me how many times I played FF before?
DBroncos4life

Just like that Andre Johnson was dropped. I'm third on the waiver wire so I will give that a try. He's having a crappy year so far but he's still worth the risk :D

I've never had Michael Bennett this year. And if I did offer him I'm pretty sure it was part of a package deal. When I make offers I try to make them even...I've made two offers this year that weren't. One to TJ and Shack and both were in jest.
You tell me I'm looking at last years stats and then you use Williams history as a basis for unloading K Jones to get him? You do realize that when he comes back he will be in a RBBC at best with R Brown.
So with your logic Eli Manning is of more value then Peyton Manning. Right.
You go ahead and use your logic.

I'm unloading Jones for Mason. Pretty cut and dry there. Bye trading Mason he becomes thin at WR so he wants someone that could fill in if needed. By trading Jones that leaves me McCallister and McGahee. I don't plan on starting Williams ever BUT his upside can't be over looked. While he is in a RBBC you should stop to think that Brown is a rookie that split carries over most of his college career. As you pointed out about Caddilac rookies only play a 12 game schedule and tend to wear down over a long NFL season. Enter Ricky. It is safe to say that Ricky is proven enough to think that he can split time and still get 60 total yards a game if not more. Not only is a good rusher he is a good pass catching RB. If you believe that Brown is going to hold Ricky out of the starting lineup for long thats your opinion, I however think that because Ricky is a vet, and a damn good one at that he will work his way into the starting role sooner then later. I might add I lost last week for the first time because my second WR got me 0 points. Lelie one week got me 1 point. I'm not going to keep hoping for someone to step up each week when I can move Jones, a backup for Mason. A guy that has back to back 95 catch, 1200 yard and 7 td seasons. Also while you would think that playing for the Ravens would be hurting him well its not. 14 in the league in catches while playing one less game. Hes on pace for more catches then ever before. One thing I have come to know. A WR can't score points if he isn't catching passes.
And my league is 12 teams and yes that guy is dumb for dropping Johnson.

Well I honestly think, much to my displeasure of having to face Bman and his ramblings, that K Jones will turn it around after he gets past this tough part in his schedule coming up. When Garcia comes back (in about a month) I wouldn't be suprised to either see him start or Harrington suddenly perform better either of which will increase Jones production.

Thats all fine but I don't think he out plays either of my starting backs so he will be doing all that on my bench, while my number two WR will be getting me 1 to 6 points.

Well as soon as he has a good game package them together and trade him.
I'd look at week 7 as a likely date for him to be productive and then week 10 for sure.
By then somebody will be hurting at RB pretty badly more then likely, and if you play the waiver wire well (which picking up andre is a good indication) you should be alright till then.

Look at Kevin Jones strength of schedule for the playoff weeks. 14-16. He's got the easiest match-ups. I'm here to tell you that if you're gonna trade Kevin Jones you better get good value for him! Right now, you're not gonna get good value for him! It's kind of like trading for Peyton Manning right now. I know for a fact that I could offer up Matt Hasselback and Warrick Dunn and somebody would give me Manning for that! Last year it took Bulger, McAllister, and a WR (can't remember who) to bring back Manning, and Jimmy Smith! It was worth it btw!

Look a this trade that got voted down then they tried it two more times to get it approved.
Team A
Culpepper (first round pick)
Steven Jackson
Shipp
Rod Smith
Team B
Plummer
Holt
Pats D
Travis Taylor (just got off the waiver this week)
Team A is now left with Bledsoe as his QB and only two RBs on his roster. Larry Johnson and Mewedle Moore. Good luck with that. Its sad that I know these people. Well four out of the twelve I know.
Edit sorry team A has Barlow on his bench as well
