Look how highly he has the Cowboys rated. They lost to Washington, barely beat San Fran and he has them that high up. He has always had his favorites like Parcells and Favre and lets that get in the way of his judgement. I hope he continues to down play Denver though, and has to eat his words later.

Yep that's peter fat queen for you. It's funny how fans all over know the clowns this well. Honestly, I would say 3 people know their stuff : John Clayton, Mort, and TJ. I also think Irvin, Schlereth, and Young know what they are talking about when they decide just to tell it like it is and not try to create drama with controversial comments just for the sake of saying something that will get a reaction...kind of like what idiot salisbury does.

Not to nitpick but if you've seen him on HBO's Inside the NFL...the cat has dropped like 55 pounds to a "normal" weight now...almost unrecognizable without the girth.

I hate to be Mr. Obvious on this one, but Peter King is paid to share his opinions. If his opinion is that the Chiefs should win (and given the first two games for each team I can understand his thoughts) then more power to him.
It isn't personal. Heck, he's been on the Jake Plummer bandwagon for the last two years, so he's probably gun shy about being tricked again. It's not like the Broncos are the Patriots and deserve the benefit of the doubt. I think that they'll be in full "show me" mode for several weeks...at least with most objective observers.

Actually Peter King has rode Mike Shanahan's nuts for the past 10 years. He openly declared for the past two seasons that Jake Plummer would have career years and actually stated that he would win the MVP last year. Peter King has been a Bronco Homer for years.
And besides, who cares what he thinks?

He is a fat POS blowhard. Anyone who writes a football column and has to write weekly about Starbucks, and his daughters' playing field hockey, softball, equestrian, etc. should realize that no one cares. I'd like to take his 3rd latte of the day and dump it on his overstuffed head.
He cannot make predictions, going like 4-12 two weeks ago straight up-no spreads involved.
He has a vendetta to keep Art Monk out of the Hall of Fame and is such a shill for the league it's embarrassing.
This past week, after Kyle Orton had one of the worst games known to mankind with 5 picks, King proceeded to say that he'd be a good QB because he's seen every episode of Seinfeld 10-15 times and loves Curb Your Enthusiasm.
